Itinerary
- Day 1
Edinburgh
The tour departs from your hotel at 2:30 PM for a panoramic drive through Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town. You'll see the historic streets and landmarks that define the city's character. After heading back to your hotel, you'll have a welcome drink and then the evening is yours to do as you please, whether that means exploring on foot or finding a restaurant that catches your interest.

Edinburgh
Start at Port of Leith Distillery where you'll learn how modern Scottish whisky gets made and hear about their sustainability efforts. From there, you head to Edinburgh Castle to see the Scottish Crown Jewels and walk through the historic fortress. Your afternoon and evening open up after that, giving you time to wander the city and grab dinner wherever you like. If you're traveling on August 9 or 23, you'll also attend the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the Castle Esplanade this evening.

Edinburgh to Belfast
You'll travel to Culzean Castle, a centuries-old fortress with beautiful furnishings and interesting history tied to General Eisenhower. Lunch is included at the castle. After that, you head to Cairnryan for the ferry crossing to Belfast. Once you arrive at your Belfast hotel, dinner is waiting for you this evening.

Belfast
This day takes you through the Nine Glens of Antrim, where you'll see mountains, valleys, and coastline all blending together. You'll stop at the Giant's Causeway, a natural formation created when lava cooled around 60 million years ago. Lunch happens at the Crosskeys Inn, Ireland's oldest thatched roof pub that's been around since 1654. This is a CIE Tours exclusive stop that you won't find on other itineraries.

First, you visit Titanic Belfast to explore the story of the famous ship that was built in local shipyards back in 1912. Then you tour Hillsborough Castle, the royal residence where the King stays when visiting Northern Ireland. Later, you travel to Dublin for an Irish night at Taylors Three Rock, where dinner comes with lively entertainment and music to keep things fun.
