Itinerary
- Day 1
Vancouver
You'll arrive in Vancouver and get settled at your hotel. Later this afternoon, you'll meet your Travel Director who'll give you the rundown on what's ahead for your Canadian trip.
- Day 2
Vancouver to Whistler
The day kicks off with a tour through Gastown, Vancouver's oldest part of the city, then you're heading to Stanley Park to see the totem poles. After that, you'll drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway with mountain and ocean views on both sides. You'll stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to check out British Columbia's third highest waterfall, and finish up in Whistler, the alpine village.

Whistler
You'll spend time in Whistler Village exploring the hiking and biking trails and walking through the scenic lanes. The afternoon and evening are yours to do what you want, but there are optional activities available if you're interested like bear viewing, whitewater rafting, or zip lining.

Whistler to Victoria
After breakfast at Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre where you'll experience First Nations culture and food, you'll take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Vancouver Island. You'll visit Chemainus, a seaside town known for its outdoor murals, then head to Victoria for an orientation tour of the city.

Victoria
You'll spend the morning at Butchart Gardens, walking through the different sections including the sunken, rose, Japanese, Italian, and Mediterranean gardens. The rest of your day is free to explore Victoria on your own, or you can choose the optional whale watching cruise to look for orcas, bald eagles, porpoises, and seals.

Victoria to Kamloops
You'll take the ferry back to the mainland from Vancouver Island and drive through scenic landscapes toward Kamloops. The route takes you through some nice terrain with views of the surrounding area.

Kamloops to Jasper
Driving along the Yellowhead Highway, you'll pass through white fenced ranch lands and see views of the snow-capped Columbia Mountains and Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. By the end of the day you'll arrive in Jasper, located in Jasper National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Jasper
You have lots of choices for how to spend your day in Jasper National Park. You can cruise on Maligne Lake, try a food tour, take a guided e-bike tour, go hiking, or do a raft tour on the water.

Jasper to Canmore
You'll travel along the Icefields Parkway and visit the Columbia Icefield. There you'll ride the Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier to get up close to this ancient glacier. From there you'll continue through the Icefields Parkway into Banff National Park, see Lake Louise, and arrive in Canmore by evening.

Canmore to Banff
You'll have the chance to take an optional helicopter flight over the peaks and glaciers (if weather allows). There's a sightseeing tour along Tunnel Mountain Drive where you'll see Cascade Mountain, Mt. Rundle, Bow Falls, and hoodoo rock formations. You can also choose other guided experiences or ride the Banff Gondola with dinner.

You'll climb to the Continental Divide at Kicking Horse Pass and stop at the Spiral Tunnels to see one of the steepest railroad stretches in the world. As you travel through three national parks, the landscape shifts from snowcapped peaks to wineries and fruit orchards in the Okanagan Valley. You'll visit Larch Hills Winery for a tour and tasting before reaching Vernon.

Check in to the Holland America cruise liner MS Koningsdam by 1:00pm at Canada Place. The ship departs and passes below Vancouver's Lion's Gate suspension bridge as you head out to sea.

Cruising Inside Passage
You'll cruise the Inside Passage surrounded by deep fjords, forested islands, and snowcapped peaks. It's a full day at sea to take in the scenery and relax on the ship.

Tracy Arm Fjord to Juneau
You'll venture into Tracy Arm Fjord surrounded by high granite walls, weaving through the Tongass National Forest until you reach Juneau, Alaska's capital.

Your final day at sea takes you back through the Inside Passage. You'll spend time on deck enjoying the crisp air and the scenery as you make your way toward Vancouver.

Vancouver Cruise Arrival
You'll sail back into Vancouver Harbour as your cruise ends. You'll disembark at approximately 9:30am and head home with your Canadian and Alaskan adventure behind you.
