Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Venice
Your driver meets you in the arrival hall at Venice Marco Polo Airport and takes you to your hotel. Check-in opens at 14:00, so you'll have time to settle in once you arrive. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the area at whatever pace feels right. If you need to check in earlier, just ask the hotel staff since early check-in depends on availability.

Venice
After breakfast, head to your meeting point which is about 26 minutes on foot or a 9-minute drive from where you're staying. You'll skip the lines and go straight into St. Mark's Basilica, the Bell Tower, and Doge's Palace. The Venice History 3D Gallery is included, along with entry to the Marciana Library, National Archaeological Museum, and Correr Museum. An audio guide helps you work through centuries of Venetian art and history at your own speed.

Venice
Once breakfast is done, walk to the nearby meeting point where a local guide takes over for 1 hour 30 minutes. The two of you navigate through Venice's narrow canals and old stone streets, walk around Piazza San Marco and see Doge's Palace up close, find local markets tucked away in Gothic alleyways, and catch the sunset light reflecting off the lagoon. It's the kind of tour where the guide knows where other tourists miss.

Landmarks Piazza San Marco Doge's Palace - Day 4
Venice to Bari
After breakfast, walk over to Venezia Santa Lucia train station for a scenic train ride down to Bari. When you get off at Bari Centrale, your hotel is just a short walk away. Check-in starts at 14:00, leaving the afternoon free to look around and get a feel for how Bari works. The old town has a different vibe than Venice, so exploring on your own is a good way to get oriented.

Bari
Breakfast first, then walk to meet your guide for a full 7 hour 30 minute tour that kicks off at 9:00 AM. You'll see Monopoli's historic center and cathedral, then drive to Alberello to walk through the UNESCO-protected trulli houses with their cone-shaped roofs. The Church of St. Anthony is on the route, and lunch happens at a local restaurant serving traditional Puglian food. The day finishes in Polignano where dramatic cliffs drop down to Lama Monachile Beach and the medieval town sits right above the water.

Bari
After breakfast, walk to the meeting point for a 1 hour 20 minute guided tour starting at 10:00 AM. Inside Palazzo Simi, your guide walks through Renaissance architecture and explains its Roman roots plus the Byzantine church that came later. If you're interested, there's an optional guided tour of the Bari Cathedral Underground where you can see archaeological finds and understand the building's foundations. The Nicolaiano Museum can be added to that underground experience.

Departure from Bari
Have breakfast and your driver arrives to take you to Bari International Airport. You should arrange the hotel pick-up for up to 4 hours before your flight takes off.
