What people love about Italy Tours from Venice
- Best of Italy in One Week (Venice, Florence, Rome!)
Staff were excellent to work with and they did everything possible to make it a great trip. All reservations and trips were booked with no problems. Hotel in Venice could be upgraded.

Enjoyed this tour. Accommodation was nice and travel voucher had most of the information needed. One thing which we were disappointed with was being referred to use the emergency number even for critical scheduling information, such as the bus time for the group included tour. This information should be relayed ahead of time to us, instead we had to actually seek it out ourselves. Thanks to Anne from Wingbuddy for helping communicate important information to us throughout the tour, much appreciated!
- Italy in 5 days (covering Venice, Florence and Rome)
Family vacations have come to mean not just time spent together relaxing, but also to travel and explore the world. Summer is a good time to get away as everyone is in a good holiday mood and it’s the best way to escape the heat! Wiseyatra curated an excellent itinerary for us as a family of four adults, to Spain, Portugal and Italy. While it wasn’t very rushed, we got to see the sights and get a feel of those countries- their culture and scenic beauty. We travelled at a leisurely pace, mostly by train and bus, so we could admire the natural beauty - rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards, villages, horses and cows grazing, rivers and seas. Tickets for the museums, palaces, cathedrals and shows had been booked well ahead of time, some with guides and “ cut the line” provision, so this facilitated access without wasting time. The tickets to most places were sold out and we saw many tourists returning disappointed, so we were fortunate that Wiseyatra had booked these in advance. There are some days when entry is free-we lucked out at the Madrid palace, Prado museum and a few churches and cathedrals. So also the flamenco show, which was “house full”. It was great that they included this, it was a visual and audio treat! There were also free walking tours which were excellent as they gave us a real feel of the place, taking in not just the sights, but local haunts, performers, eating places, street food and popular haunts like the “ kissing wall”, parks, statues and fountains and to see little known Roman temples and ruins, Jew town and quaint houses. We swam in the Mediterranean at Barcelona and the Atlantic at Lisbon, to walk along the Rivers Besos, Manzanares, Tagus/ Rio Tejo, Genil, Arno, Tiber. It is very important when one has a full itinerary, to stay in clean and comfortable hotels, so as to have a good night’s rest, hot shower and feel refreshed every morning to start the day. Our hotels were upgraded to four star; all centrally located, providing elaborate breakfasts, helpful with maps and taxis. Wiseyatra’s meticulous planning and interaction ensured that our entire three week trip was without a single hitch. They were always accessible and ready to assist. We look forward to more personally curated travel with them.

Which areas of Venice are most tours based in when starting their journey?
Venice tour starting points cluster around three key neighborhoods. The San Marco district puts visitors steps from the iconic square while the Santa Croce area near Piazzale Roma and Cannaregio district by the train station offer convenient access points. Accommodations range from the canal-side Hotel San Cassiano in San Polo to the practical Hotel Villa Rosa near Santa Lucia station and Hotel Mercure in mainland Mestre. What transportation options are available from Venice Marco Polo Airport to tour starting points?
