Deer Lake
You'll arrive at Deer Lake whenever works best for your schedule. This first day is all about getting settled and rested before the tour kicks off tomorrow morning.

Deer Lake to Rocky Harbour
Meet your CEO and the group at a morning welcome meeting in Deer Lake, then head out to Gros Morne National Park. You'll hike the Tableland trail which offers wide views of the mountains, then wander through the historic town of Woody Point on your own. After that, take a boat across Boone Bay to Norris Point before ending up in Rocky Harbour. There's an optional group dinner available tonight if you're interested.

Rocky Harbour
This day focuses on exploring Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start by walking around Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse and checking out its exhibit, then hike a 3km trail down to the dock. From there you'll take a boat tour on Western Brook Pond fjord, which is really something special. You'll have a packed lunch right on the boat while taking in the lake and the landscape around it. Back in Rocky Harbour by late afternoon, so you'll have free time to walk around this quiet Canadian town.

Rocky Harbour to Twillingate
Travel from Rocky Harbour to King's Point where you get a choice: hike the Alexander Murray trail with your CEO or explore the town yourself. From there, continue on to Twillingate, a town known for its rough coastline and green countryside. You'll settle in for the evening with dinner whenever you feel like eating.

Twillingate to Trinity
Twillingate is called the iceberg town, and you'll have free time to check it out how you want. Join your CEO for a hiking trail, pop into museums and art workshops, or if you've booked ahead, go on a whale and wildlife watching tour. Lunch is on your own, then you'll travel to Trinity for a free evening. Your CEO can take you on a sunset walk up Gun Hill, or you might catch a show at the local theatre if something's on.

- Day 6
Trinity to Elliston to Trinity
Head to Elliston on the Bonavista Peninsula to see puffins at the viewing site. You'll walk along a narrow rocky path to watch these colorful auks up close. There's free time in town for lunch and you can visit an interpretation centre if you want. In the afternoon, hike one of the trails your CEO has picked out along the peninsula where you might see seabirds, sea stacks, icebergs, and possibly whales depending on the season. You'll return to Trinity for dinner at your own pace.

Trinity to St. John's
Travel to Brigus, a village that feels like it's stepped out of Europe, and walk through its narrow lanes to see a large tunnel cut right through solid bedrock near the harbour. You'll have free time for lunch, then continue to St. John's. Visit Signal Hill National Historic Site and hike one of the trails there for views of the rough coastline. Tour the visitor centre, then your CEO will lead a walk through the capital city to see the famous colorful row houses downtown. There's an optional group dinner available tonight.
