Sue· August 2nd, 2024Truly enjoyed this trip. We did the 9 days starting in Corner Brook and ending in St John's. Our local tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. This started our trip in a relaxed vibe. We met up with Robb- tour gulde and Hank - bus driver. They made this a memorable trip. I give the hotels a 4 or 5 star in food and accommodation. It was a trip I will remember for sometime.Show more

You could fly from St John's to Deer Lake or there is also a bus service you could book with as well that would take you from St John's to Corner Brook/Deer Lake or even to Port aux Basques.

For this tour, the best airport to fly into at the beginning would be the Deer Lake Airport - Most likely needing a layover in Toronto to reach Deer Lake. St. Johns to the Ferry in Port Aux Basques is quite a long distance to do at the end of the tour in one drive - you may want to look at flying from St. Johns back to Halifax or at adding an extra post-night or two if you are still considering doing the ferry at the end of the tour.

The different prices for the tour dates are based on the group size of the tour. Our "Regular Group Departures" are a maximum of 46-48 passengers and our "Small Group Departures" are a maximum of 24-26 passengers. The July 16th date would be one of our Small Group Departures.

If you choose to overnight in Deer Lake instead of Cow Head for the first evening, then the transfer service would pick up the next morning from Deer Lake. There would be no need to go to Corner Brook in this case. Airport transfers are not included in the cost of the tour, but can be added on additionally if needed.
