  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Riga

    You'll arrive in Riga by flight and head straight to your hotel on your own to get settled. This gives you time to drop your bags, freshen up, and get oriented to the city at your own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Vilnius

    Early morning transfer to Vilnius with an English-speaking guide, then you'll meet your German-speaking guide for the day. Start at Vilnius Cathedral, which blends Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles, then take a panoramic tour hitting Gediminas Avenue, the Presidential Palace, Vilnius University, St. Anne's Church, and the Orthodox Cathedral. Later you'll visit the Amber Art Center to see how prehistoric fossils and amber are processed. Wander through Uzupis district checking out its cafes, galleries and boutiques with city views. Stop by Antakalnis Cemetery and St. Peter and Paul Church, which has roughly 2,000 interior statues and reliefs. Head back to your hotel for dinner.

    Kaunas - Neringa

    After breakfast, you're off to Trakai to see the medieval castle on a lake peninsula. Then continue to Kaunas, Lithuania's former capital, for a panoramic tour of the historic center and Jewish heritage sites. Visit the largest baroque monastery built in the 17th century. In the afternoon, take a ferry to Smyltune and head to Juodkrante village. Walk through the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with sand dunes and pine forests. Explore Nida village, check out Thomas Mann's house, and climb the 52-metre Parnidis Dune for views. Travel to Klaipeda for the night and dinner.

    Siauliai - Rundale - Riga

    Start with breakfast exploring Klaipeda, Lithuania's third largest city with its harbor and trading history. See Klaipeda Fort and the 15th century castle in the old town with half-timbered houses. Head to Siauliai for the Hill of Crosses, an important pilgrimage site with over 100,000 crosses. Continue to Rundale to see the baroque residence of the Duke of Courland with French gardens and rococo halls. Travel back to Riga for accommodation and dinner.
