- Day 1
Arrival in Casablanca
Your driver will be waiting at Casablanca airport to take you to your hotel. Once you've settled in, the Corniche de Casablanca is right there to explore on your own terms, with palm trees lining the waterfront and a few beach clubs nearby if you want to swim. This is a good evening to take things easy and get some rest before the trip picks up.

Casablanca Guided Tour
A guided family tour takes you through Casablanca's old souk where you'll have mint tea and pastries. From there, head to Ain Diab beach to walk on the sand, then check out the New Medina and its Art Deco style buildings. Mohamed V Square is next, and then you'll tour Hassan II Mosque, which welcomes non-Muslims to see the green mosaic tiles and detailed ceilings inside.

Casablanca to Essaouira
You'll drive southwest to Essaouira along the coast, about four hours total. A local guide walks you through the medina's bright, wide streets across 75 acres of souks and plazas. The 16th-century Castelo Real of Mogador and its defensive towers come next. The day wraps up at the long sandy beach where the kids can play and grab ice cream.

Essaouira Treasure Hunt & Beach
Start your morning with a family treasure hunt through Essaouira's medina using riddles, a map, and a logbook to uncover the city's pirate history over two to three hours. In the afternoon, you'll head to the quieter beaches near Cap Sim or Diabat where your driver provides a picnic lunch. The kids can play while you relax, and there's an optional camel ride by the water before sunset.

Essaouira Horseback Riding
The morning is yours to sleep in or wander around on your own. Later in the afternoon, a guide meets you for horseback riding along Essaouira's golden beaches. You'll learn the basics and get a horse matched to your experience level, then ride toward quieter areas as the sun sets. Dinner at a seaside restaurant follows the ride.

Essaouira to Marrakesh
The drive inland to Marrakesh takes about three hours, and along the way you'll spot goats climbing argan trees in the rolling plains. After your hotel check-in and a walk through the medina and souks, dinner happens at a local family's home where your hosts talk through the history and traditions behind Moroccan cooking.

Marrakesh Family Tour
A family tour of Marrakesh includes games, a treasure hunt, and activities outside. You'll learn about local traditions, see the Ben Youssef Madrasa and old palaces, walk through an open-air souk, and try local treats and drinks. If your older kids have energy to burn, an optional cycling tour in the afternoon takes you through the medina to Jardin Majorelle with its colorful buildings and gardens.

Marrakesh Cooking Class & Anima Garden
At a local nonprofit center, you and the kids take a cooking class focused on authentic Moroccan food. You'll identify ingredients blindfolded, then learn step by step how to make a traditional chicken tajine. Your family's dishes go on the table with freshly baked flatbread for eating. Later, drive about 18 miles southwest to Anima Garden, where art meets nature and landscaped grounds give the kids plenty to explore.

Landmarks/POIs Anima Garden - Day 9
Marrakesh to Agafay Desert
Head south toward Agafay Desert under the High Atlas mountains, roughly 90 minutes away with stops along the route. You'll visit an argan oil cooperative in Tahnaout, and if you're traveling Saturday, catch the traditional Berber souk in Asni. After mint tea, hike to Armed village in the Imlil Valley to spend time with a Berber family and have a traditional Moroccan meal at their guesthouse. Then continue to Agafay for sunset camel ride, dinner around a bonfire, and sleeping under the stars.

Departure
You'll leave the desert and head back to Marrakesh in time for your flight. If your departure is later in the day, there might be time for one last shopping trip in the souks to grab souvenirs. From there, your driver takes you to the airport for your departure.
