Dead Sea
You'll arrive at Queen Alia Airport where your driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel at the Dead Sea. Check in and get settled for the night, giving yourself time to adjust after travel.

Dead Sea - Kerak - Dana - Shobak - Petra
Today you're traveling through Jordan's varied landscapes, leaving the Dead Sea behind. First stop is Kerak to see its imposing Crusader castle, then it's on to Dana biosphere reserve where you'll see some really nice scenery. After that, you head to Shobak's Montreal Castle before finishing the day in Petra, positioned and ready to explore the archaeological sites tomorrow.

- Day 3
Petra - Wadi Rum
Your guide takes you through Petra's ancient rock-carved architecture, covering the Treasury, the Siq, and the royal tombs. It's a full morning of walking and looking at carved stone. Later, you drive south to Wadi Rum where you'll spend the evening in the desert with its red sand dunes and dramatic rock formations. You can expect to be under the stars here.

Wadi Rum - Aqaba
After breakfast, a 2-hour 4x4 jeep safari takes you deeper into Wadi Rum, following Lawrence of Arabia's route through sand dunes and rock bridges. The afternoon drive then heads north to Aqaba where you'll stay the night.

Aqaba - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Amman
You drive north from Aqaba to Madaba to see Byzantine mosaics, particularly the famous Madaba Map at St. George's Church. Then it's to Mt. Nebo, the place where Moses is said to have looked out over the Promised Land. Later you arrive in Amman where the day ends with time to reflect on what you've seen so far.

Amman - Ajloun - Jerash - Amman
The drive takes you to Ajloun to visit the 12th-century Ajloun Castle, a fortress from the Crusade era with views across northern Jordan's green hills. From there, you head to Jerash, which is one of the best-preserved Roman cities around. You'll walk through colonnaded streets, see the temples of Artemis and Zeus, check out the theatres, and look at the oval forum. The return to Amman happens after a long day of historical sites.
