Itinerary

Kathmandu
You'll touch down at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport where a Sherpa Expedition & Trekking representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. After settling in, there's a briefing covering what to expect on the trek ahead to Ghorepani, Poon Hill, and Annapurna Base Camp.

Kathmandu
Your guide leads a sightseeing tour through Kathmandu Valley, starting with Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal on the Bagmati River banks, then Bouddhanath temple known as 'Little Tibet', and Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple). Next comes Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site in front of the former royal palace. Back at the hotel, you'll have time to browse shops around Thamel, the tourist heart of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara Valley takes about 6 to 7 hours, and you'll arrive at your hotel near the beautiful Phewa Tal lake. There's plenty to explore along Lakeside with its shops, bars, and restaurants. Catching the sunset from Lakeside is something you won't want to miss.

Landmarks/POIs Phewa Tal - Day 4
Pokhara to Tikhedhunga
You'll drive about 1 hour 25 minutes from Pokhara through Lumle Village to Nayapul (1050m), where your trek begins. After 30 minutes on foot, you reach Birethanti where you show your tourist permit at a checkpoint. The trail winds through rhododendron forest along the Modi River with a teahouse stop, then a 3 to 4 hour trek brings you to the lush green village of Tikhedhunga.

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
A steep 2 hour climb up stone steps gets you to Ulleri (2070m), then you continue to Banthanti where you'll see views of Mt. Machapuchare (6997m), Hiunchuli (6441m), and Annapurna South (7219m). The path goes through pink flowering rhododendron forest, crosses a small bridge, and reaches Ghorepani village with massive peaks like Dhaulagiri and Annapurna towering around you.

Poon Hill - Tadapani
An early start gets you to Poon Hill to watch sunrise light up the Annapurna Ranges, including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), and several other peaks. After returning to Ghorepani for breakfast, you trek through Deurali village and continue on to Tadapani.

Tadapani to Chomrong
The trail descends through oak and rhododendron forests with views of the Annapurna Ranges. You'll stop for lunch at Kimrong Khola, a tributary of the Modi Khola River. From there the trail climbs for 1 to 2 hours before reaching a ridge that becomes easier, then continues to Chomrong Village, the last settlement before ABC.

Chomrong to Dovan
The trail first descends to Chomrong Khola river before heading up to Khuldighar (2380m), where there's an Annapurna Conservation checkpoint before entering the conservation area. You'll then descend into the valley and follow river banks through a bamboo grove before taking a steep path to Dovan.

Dovan to Deurali
You'll trek up through rhododendron forest beside the Modi Khola river to the Himalaya Hotel (2920m). A lunch stop comes along the way before you head to Hinku Cave, which was once a supply point for early explorers. The trail continues until you reach Deurali (3200m).

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
The trek to Annapurna Base Camp follows a trail that may be snow covered depending on when you're traveling. From ABC, Annapurna I (8091m) towers right in front of you with extraordinary views all around. Several teahouses are here where you can rest and take in the landscape. You'll stay overnight at the base camp.

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo Village
Leaving ABC, you'll trek downhill through lush vegetation until you reach Bamboo Village where you'll spend the night.

Bamboo Village to Jhinu Danda
After leaving Bamboo, there's a short climb to Sinuwa Village and then you head to Chomrong Village. After a break and tea at Chomrong, you'll head uphill and then down to Jhinu Danda. The hot spring just below the Modi River is perfect for relaxing your legs after days of trekking. You'll stay here tonight.

Jhinu Danda to Pokhara
This is your final trekking day. You'll follow an easy trail alongside the Modi Khola River for about 4 to 5 hours before reaching Birethanti Village. From there, you continue to Nayapul and then drive back to Pokhara.

Pokhara
Early morning offers a short trek to the hills to watch sunrise over the Annapurnas with views of Machapuchare, Manaslu, and the Dhaulagiri Range. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, you can try paragliding at Sarangkot. Later, your guide takes you to Bindabasini Temple, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, the Seti River gorges, Tibetan refugee camps, the World Peace Pagoda, and the museum.
