You'll arrive in Moshi and take the day to settle into your accommodation. Use this time to rest after your travels, get acclimated to the altitude, and prepare your gear for the climb starting tomorrow. Take it easy this evening and make sure you have everything organized for the trek ahead.

- Day 2
Moshi to Mandara Huts
Your trek begins with the walk from Moshi to Mandara Huts, your first camp on Kilimanjaro. The trail moves through cultivated farmland and then into forest, so you'll see the landscape changing as you climb. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided, and you'll reach camp in the afternoon, giving you time to adjust to the elevation around 2,700 meters/8,860 feet.

Mandara Huts to Horombo Huts
From Mandara Huts, you'll continue trekking toward Horombo Huts, moving through moorland as you go higher. The vegetation shifts noticeably along this stretch, and you're getting used to the thinner air. Meals are supplied throughout the day, so you'll have energy for the walk. By evening you'll reach Horombo Huts at about 3,700 meters/12,100 feet.

Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts
Today's trek takes you from Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts, and this section is shorter but steeper. You're climbing into alpine desert terrain now, with views expanding as the vegetation thins out. All your meals are provided as you make your way to the final camp before the summit push. Kibo Huts sits at 4,700 meters/15,400 feet, and you'll want to rest well here.

- Day 5
Kibo Huts to Horombo Huts
This is your summit attempt day. You'll start very early in the morning from Kibo Huts and make the push toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro at 5,895 meters/19,340 feet. The climb is demanding, especially in the thin air, but the effort pays off with views across Tanzania once you reach the crater rim. After summiting, you'll descend back down to Horombo Huts for recovery, with meals provided to help you recuperate.

Horombo Huts to Moshi
Your final day on the mountain takes you down from Horombo Huts back to Moshi. The descent goes faster than the climb, and you'll move through those changing landscapes in reverse. Breakfast and lunch are included as you make your way down to lower elevations. By late afternoon you'll be back in Moshi with your trek complete.

Moshi
You've earned a recovery day in Moshi. Breakfast is included, and you'll spend the day resting and celebrating your accomplishment. Your muscles will likely be sore, so take it slow and let your body recover from the climb. This is a good time to reflect on the trek, clean up, and prepare for your departure or next activity.
