World Adventure Tours is an amazing company that hosted my friends to an unforgettable Kilmanjaro hiking adventure. Our choice was guided by the great reviews we found about them on this platform and affirmed by our friends who had gone with them in February. The trip was actually better that detailed in the itinerary. No descriptions, photos or video can do justice to the actual feeling of going up the mountain together with friends supported by what I consider to be the best climbing crew. We had good equipment and well fed all the time. The crew made sure we were safe at all times, regularly checking our oxygen levels, BP and other vitals. The five of us all made it to the summit which is a great achievement. I wld not change anything about this trip given another opportunity.

Excellent trip with a great group. Our guide was very laid back but knowledgeable and ensured we always went 'pole pole'. I'm glad we stayed in the huts but it was still cold at night. All of us made it to the summit (but not all to Uhuru Peak). The toughest thing I've ever done! Would I do it again- debateable, was it worth it- hell yeah!!

What's the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?
You've got two really good windows for climbing Kili. January through March brings clear skies and cooler temps which is perfect for those crisp summit views and you'll likely catch some snow up top making it pretty spectacular. Then there's June to October when it's warmer and drier lots of people choose this time and you've got better chances of spotting wildlife in the lower forest areas.
Which route should I take up Kilimanjaro?
It really comes down to what kind of experience you're after and how comfortable you are with trekking. The Machame Route's super popular because it gives you more time to adjust to the altitude and the scenery is just incredible you'll go through these amazing forests and across the Shira Plateau. If you're not keen on camping the Marangu Route's got proper huts to sleep in though it's a bit tougher on acclimatization.
