Overall a good experience, despite suffering from AMS symptoms. The guide and crew did everything to make the trip as enjoyable as possible, and the wider company also ensured everything went smoothly, with airport runs, accommodation, etc. The main negative issue, dropping a star in the rating, was the tents used by Almighty. They are just not as stable as the geodesic design that most other operators are using, and have been for many years. Some of the campsites did get very windy, and my tent collapsed and filled with dust on more than one occasion. This lead to sleepless nights, which did not set me up for success!

I absolutely loved my experience with the Almighty Kilimanjaro team, especially with Muntari, Amari and chef Shabani! The whole team made the hike to the top of Kilimanjaro an absolute amazing journey and memory - I can not thank the team enough and have huge amounts of respect for their service and dedication to ensuring that I had the most exceptional time 😊 I would 100% recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro to anyone wanting to tick Kilimanjaro off their bucket list and to have the most amazing time whilst doing it. Thank you so much Muntari and team!

Just finished hiking with my dad and brother, the 7 day Machame route with Almighty Kilimanjaro and had the most amazing experience. Could not recommend more. The whole team were incredible. We were surrounded by a group of happy, supportive and motivational legends who were none stop laughing together. Our lead guide Muntari was just the absolute best. Such a friendly person, making jokes all the time and helping lift the mood when needed. So knowledgeable about the mountain and also had advice for us whenever we were struggling with anything. Our second guide Apollinari was also great with lots of cool facts about the vegetation. Amani looked after us morning and night, very gently waking us up with morning tea and hot water to wash as well as encouraging us to eat even when we didn’t want to ! The food was excellent - we were shocked with the fab standard being up a mountain but Shabani our chef ensured our stomachs were always full with a great variety of food and we had fresh fruit every day as well as meat! The rest of the team ensured we arrived back at camp every day to our tents already set up and chairs for us to sit and always congratulating us. The porters do such hard work. Day 6 - summit day, was the toughest day of my life and we could not have done it without Muntari, Apollinari, Shabani and Amani who sang us to the top. True legends who even dragged my brother up when he needed it. We will never ever forget this experience! Thank you so much :))

What a trip organised by a company that is on top of their admin both back office and on the mountain. Whole trip went really smoothly. The team looking after us were so so helpful but also really friendly and genuine with lots smiles all round. Lead guide Muntari spoke excellent English, was very informative and was generally good company for us during the 7 days on the mountain. A Star !!!! 👏

I booked with Almighty Kilimanjaro directly, and they were amazing from the get go- good communication, I arrived at the airport and they picked me up to take me to the hotel for the briefing and checking I have all my equipments and if not I could rent some stuff. My guides Dismas & Amari were honestly the best enthusiastic guides ever!! I spent 7 days with them, and with every trek they were smiling, patient & welcoming on each day. Very knowledgeable too, learnt a lot about flowers, birds, the history of Kilimanjaro mountain. On summit day I struggled the first hour and Dismas the lead guide was fantastic, I stopped about 11 times and he was very patient, encouraging and was with me every step of the way, and due to the this I managed to reach the summit and made it back safely. Definitely would recommend this company, fair price & excellent service. My thanks to all the porters, guides & drivers who helped make this experience the best one ever!!!!

I had the best week with John and his crew this week climbing mt Kilimanjaro. Without the whole team, it wouldn’t have been possible. They were all very friendly and so caring. Always giving you what you need, lots of food, water, hot water for washing, hot water for tea coffee etc. they really are the best team I could’ve asked for, especially doing it solo. The summit climb is an incredibly challenging experience and John made this very do able for me I cannot thank him enough. The food they cook you is amazing, even on a mountain he can make top food, even for a picky eater! The porters make such an effort in getting your tent and gear to the next camp asap even though they must’ve been knackered so I cannot thank them enough. Again, thank you guys so much for helping me achieve this goal.

2 gals successful summit to the top of Kilimanjaro in 6 days had planned 7 round trip ! This wouldn’t have been possible without the excellent advices and support of almighty Kilimanjaro team Frankie and swalehe! Our crew were absolutely brilliant we felt so well looked after they couldn’t have done enough for us. Musa gave us our morning wake up and every morning he came with a smile and with that we always knew it was going to be a great day no matter what the challenge was! A great experience all round! Summit night we had an extra team member omali walk with us and he was just the best addition to get us through the final push but a massive thanks to you all ! It was a team effort!
