- Day 1
Victoria Falls
Your African adventure kicks off in Victoria Falls town. Head to the falls in the morning and prepare to get wet from the spray that travels for miles around. Bring clothes you don't mind soaking since the water reaches quite far from the falls themselves. The afternoon and evening are open for you to either kick back and relax or take part in optional activities like bungee jumping if that's your thing.

- Day 2
Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
Travel to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest protected area covering 14,600 square kilometres. This former royal hunting ground holds African wild dogs, over 100 mammal species including the Big Five, and a huge variety of birds. After settling in, join a guided open vehicle game drive in the afternoon to look for wildlife before returning to camp for the evening.

- Days 3 - 4
Hwange National Park to Matobo National Park
Head south toward Matobo National Park and stop in Bulawayo along the way to pick up supplies. Once you arrive, the afternoon is free to wander around at your own pace. The next morning, take a half day tour with a local guide that combines a game drive and a wilderness walk through the park. Matobo has the largest population of Black and White Rhinos in the region plus leopards and black eagles. Later in the afternoon you can relax, or book an optional extension to see ancient Bushmen paintings and Cecil Rhodes' grave if you're interested.

Matobo National Park to Masvingo
Journey east toward Masvingo, a small town positioned near the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, one of Southern Africa's most significant archaeological sites. Set up camp nearby and explore the ruins on your own or with a local guide available. If you've got the energy left, trek up to the Hill Enclosure and catch the sunset from there.

Masvingo to Bandula area (Mozambique)
Start very early this morning for a 400 km drive into Mozambique. Along the way, stop in Mutare and check out the Birchenough Bridge if time allows. Cross the border and continue to the Bandula area near Chicamba Dam. Your campsite sits within a 550-hectare conservancy, so you'll have plenty of natural surroundings to explore after arrival.

Bandula to Vilanculos to Magaruque Island
Leave Bandula and travel to the Indian Ocean coast, heading through Vilanculos which serves as the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Gather your belongings and grab your snorkels, then board a traditional dhow boat for a 90-minute sail to a remote beach camp. The next day, sail to Magaruque Island, the third in the archipelago chain. Spend your time relaxing, exploring, snorkeling and swimming in the turquoise waters, soaking up sun on the white sand, and enjoying seafood lunch that's included. Head back to camp in the late afternoon.

Vilanculos to Tofo
Travel down the scenic coastline through Inhambane and arrive in Tofo, a laid-back beach town where you'll stay for two nights. The pace here is slow and perfect for unwinding. Wander through local bars and restaurants, try fresh seafood, and get a feel for the local culture. Your free day offers options like discovering tropical beaches, or trying optional activities such as climbing the ladder at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception in Inhambane, or exploring the reefs and colorful fish.

- Day 11
Tofo to Bilene
Head south from Tofo to Bilene, your final coastal stop in Mozambique. Bilene sits near the Uembje Lagoon (also called San Marthino Lake), where snorkelling ranks as one of the best activities in the area. Your campsite perches on top of the dunes, offering views over the lagoon and the ocean beyond.

Landmarks Bilene Uembje Lagoon - Days 12 - 13
Bilene to Hazyview (Greater Kruger, South Africa)
Cross into South Africa and make your way to a camp in Hazyview, right on the edge of Kruger National Park, southern Africa's well-known game reserve. The national park and surrounding reserves have no fences, so wildlife roams freely across the landscape. You'll find all the Big Five here plus over 500 bird species, offering excellent viewing opportunities. In the evening, relax and watch Shangaan tribal dancing and singing performed around an open fire. Early the next morning, board specialized 4x4 vehicles for a full day of game drives searching for the Big Five and other wildlife, with a lunch break in between the morning and afternoon sessions.
