Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
This afternoon you'll head aboard and get settled into your stateroom. There's a cocktail reception to kick things off, followed by a special Welcome Dinner. Before the evening wraps up, you'll catch a performance by the Shanty Choir. The ship stays docked in Amsterdam overnight, so you can relax after traveling.

- Day 2
Amsterdam to Utrecht
Your morning is free to wander Amsterdam on your own, or you can join an optional guided canal cruise if that interests you. Grab lunch back on the ship, then you'll depart at 8:30am heading upstream toward Utrecht. You'll pull into Utrecht around 12:30pm to 1:00pm for a quick stop before continuing on toward Cologne.

- Day 3
Cologne
After breakfast, you'll arrive in Cologne and have the cathedral city to yourself to explore, or join a guided tour if you prefer. The High Gothic architecture and the famous twin-spired Cologne Cathedral are the main draws, and you'll have a chance to try some Kölsch beer. In the afternoon, you can either relax on deck or take an active excursion out to Siebengebirge National Park and Castle Drachenfels. Dinner happens on board as the ship cruises the Rhine.

- Day 4
Cochem
This morning takes you cruising down the Moselle River, which is the largest tributary of the Rhine, through Germany's wine region with its dramatically terraced vineyards. After lunch, you'll arrive in the medieval town of Cochem around 2:00pm. You can explore on your own or join a guided tour of the town and Reichsburg Castle. Later in the afternoon, there's a local winery visit for regional wine tasting. The ship continues toward Koblenz after 9:45pm.

- Day 5
Koblenz to Rüdesheim
You'll arrive early in Koblenz, which sits where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers meet. There's a guided walking tour of the historic town through 11:00am. After that, the afternoon brings a cruise through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site with dramatic riverbanks, vineyards, and castles. By 5:00pm you'll reach Rüdesheim and can choose between a walking tour and visit to the Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum or a vineyard tasting with the famous Drosselgasse wine taverns and live music. Dinner is back on the ship.

- Day 6
Mannheim to Speyer
Before breakfast, you'll dock in Mannheim, where there's an optional excursion to nearby Heidelberg with its old university city and castle ruins if you want to take it. The afternoon brings you to Speyer, a historic city with a cathedral where eight Roman emperors and German kings are buried. Join a guided tour to learn about the famous Speyer Brezel, celebrated at the annual Pretzel Festival. Later that night, the ship heads toward Strasbourg.

Strasbourg
This morning you arrive in Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace and a UNESCO World Heritage city. The Strasbourg Cathedral, Petite France with its medieval character, half-timbered houses, and 22 stone bridges connecting the city center are all worth seeing. There's an optional guided canal boat excursion to help you get oriented. After lunch on board, you'll take in the Rhine views as the ship continues toward Switzerland.

Basel
After breakfast, the crew says goodbye and wishes you safe travels home. You'll disembark in Basel at 9:00am, which is your final stop in Switzerland.
