- Beatrix· May 10th, 2025The trip was fantastic. I booked a 15-day group tour of Sri Lanka. 3 days before departure I received the message that I was the only one on this tour. At first I was a little skeptical, but after a warm welcome from the local tour guide, who explained the upcoming tour to me in detail, all doubts were forgotten. I was accompanied by the tour guide Anura for 6 days and the chauffeur Udaya for the rest of the trip. Nothing was left out on this trip. I saw and experienced so much. Sri Lanka offers wonderful nature and so many different facets and sights. All my wishes were fulfilled and I really had an all-round carefree package. I also went to Adams Peak at 2am with over 5300 steps. It was a great experience. The driver drove me into town and picked me up again, even though he had to wait 1 1/2 hours for me. The people are all very warm and relaxed and the food is delicious. I actually booked a 15-day group trip. 3 days before departure, I received the message that I was the only one taking part in the trip and was upgraded to a private trip. I was very skeptical at first. But the trip was super organized. The local travel agency "Sunrise Sri Lanka Travels and Tours" provided a tour guide for 6 days, as well as a chauffeur. Both looked after me the whole day and fulfilled the entire program. They were always with me, fulfilled all my wishes and it was a really nice, relaxed trip for me through a wonderful country with incredible nature and very beautiful sights. I even climbed Adams Peak with its over 5300 steps at around 2am in the morning. The driver drove me into town that night and picked me up again. It was a matter of course for him, even though he waited for me for 1 1/2 hours. I can only recommend the trip, it is really great. Many thanks also to Tourradar, the communication was excellent.
