      Volkach to Würzburg (65km)

On day two, take the morning walking tour at 10 AM near Brandenburg Gate. Bring €5-10 cash for the guide. Visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial in the afternoon.       Frankfurt

      Hamelin & Hamburg (490 km)

      Leave early for Hamelin. Join the Pied Piper walking tour at 11:30 AM from Market Square. Look for rat markers in the ground that show you the story route. When you get to Hamburg check out the St. Pauli fish market if it's Sunday evening.

      Berlin (400 km)

      Stop at the UNESCO site of Lübeck on your way to Berlin. It's known for marzipan and historic Hanseatic buildings. A recent visitor said: "Get the 3-day Museum Pass. We saved hours by skipping lines at Pergamon and Neues Museum. But book your Reichstag dome visit separately at least a week ahead." Spend one day at East Side Gallery and Checkpoint Charlie another at Museum Island and Brandenburg Gate.
