Amsterdam
This afternoon you'll get settled in and unpack your things. Start the evening with a welcome cocktail, then head to a special welcome dinner. A shanty choir performance wraps up the night. The ship stays docked in Amsterdam overnight.

- Day 2
Amsterdam to Utrecht to Cologne
You can spend the morning walking around Amsterdam or take a canal cruise if you prefer something more relaxed. By 1:00pm you're back on board for lunch. After that, the vessel heads out from Amsterdam at 8:30am, with a quick stop in Utrecht from 12:30pm to 1:00pm before continuing upstream toward Cologne.

- Day 3
Cologne
After breakfast you'll pull into Cologne and find the cathedral city waiting for you. The Old Town has incredible High Gothic architecture, including the famous twin-spired Cologne Cathedral. Try the local Kölsch beer while you're there. The afternoon gives you options - either take it easy on board or head out to Siebengebirge National Park and the ruins of Castle Drachenfels if you want something more active. Dinner happens on board while the ship cruises the Rhine. You're in port from 10:30am to 8:00pm.

- Day 4
Cochem
This morning the ship takes a special route down the Moselle River, the Rhine's largest tributary. This region produces some of Germany's best wines, with steep terraced vineyards lining the water. After lunch you'll reach Cochem. Wander the narrow streets and medieval town gates, or join a guided tour to visit Reichsburg Castle. Later in the afternoon, check out a local winery and taste wines from the area. The vessel continues toward Koblenz before midnight. Port hours are 2:00pm to 9:45pm.

- Day 5
Koblenz to Rüdesheim
Early morning brings you to Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers meet. From 6:00am to 11:00am, there's a guided walking tour of the town. This afternoon you'll cruise through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with vineyards and castles. Late afternoon arrives in Rüdesheim where you can take a walking tour and visit the Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum, or head to a local vineyard for a wine tasting and explore Drosselgasse with its wine taverns and live music. Dinner waits for you back on the ship.

- Day 6
Mannheim to Speyer
The ship docks in Mannheim early, from 6:00am to 1:00pm, giving you a chance to take an excursion to nearby Heidelberg with its historic university and castle. That afternoon at 3:30pm to 7:30pm you're in Speyer, a historic city with a cathedral that holds eight Roman emperors and German kings. A guided tour covers the city's history and the famous Speyer Brezel, a bread that's celebrated at the annual Pretzel Festival. Later the ship heads toward Strasbourg for the night.

- Day 7
Strasbourg
You arrive in Strasbourg, the Alsace capital, at 7:30am. The cathedral Straßburger Münster and the Petite France quarter with its half-timbered houses are highlights. The Grand Island in the city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site connected by 22 stone bridges. Take a guided canal boat tour this morning. After lunch on board, relax as the ship cruises toward Switzerland and Basel. You're in port until 1:00pm.
