- Day 1
Quito
You'll arrive in Quito and have the day to yourself. Spend time walking through the historic UNESCO World Heritage center, checking out local markets and museums, or booking a guided tour if you want more details. Later at 6:00 PM, meet your guide and fellow travelers in the hotel lobby for a welcome briefing.

Cloud Forest
After a scenic drive to the foothills of Pichincha Volcano, you'll start cycling along a dirt road through colorful mountains, farms, and rural homes for about two hours. Then you'll descend into the cloud forest, stop for lunch by the river, and visit a hummingbird sanctuary to see these creatures up close.

Zuleta
This morning you'll head to Quitsato and stand on the equator line between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Then it's on to Olmedo village where you'll cycle through farmland and valleys with views of Cayambe Volcano. You'll reach Zuleta, known for artisanal embroidery, and finish the day at an Indigenous community with an authentic cultural exchange and locally prepared dinner.

Otavalo - Cotopaxi
You'll cycle through the highlands near Imbabura Volcano with views of San Pablo Lake, also called the 'Lake of Tears'. Next you'll stop in Peguche village to see textile artisans working on vibrant Andean fabrics, then grab lunch at the famous Otavalo Market. After exploring the bustling market's handmade goods, you'll drive to the Cotopaxi region for the night.

Cotopaxi National Reserve
You'll bike through Cotopaxi National Reserve in the unique páramo ecosystem surrounding one of the world's highest active volcanoes. Watch for Andean condors, wild horses, and foxes while taking in panoramic Andes views. During the ride you'll take a scenic picnic break to enjoy the crisp mountain air before continuing on thrilling trails.

Baños
You'll cycle at an incredible altitude of 4,800 meters on Chimborazo Volcano, the closest point to the sun from Earth's center. Ride along sandy trails circling this iconic peak and watch for vicuñas grazing in the reserve. In the afternoon you'll descend to Baños, a vibrant town known for hot springs, where you can relax in thermal baths or explore the lively streets.

Pailón del Diablo

After visiting the dramatic Pailón del Diablo Waterfall with its roaring cascade and dense forest surroundings, you'll drive back to Quito and reflect on your Andean journey.

From there you'll continue through an impressive canyon and climb toward Isinlivi village for the night, surrounded by Andean landscapes.
