Izmir
Head out to see the ancient ruins of Ephesus, walking through the marble streets and checking out the Theater and Library of Celsus. From there, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, then stop at a regional carpet center to watch traditional Turkish rug weaving. If you prefer, take a free day to rest instead.

Pamukkale to Fethiye

Fethiye
This day is yours to use as you like. Relax at the hotel or take an optional boat cruise along the turquoise coast with stops to swim at secluded bays and islands. It's a nice break before moving on.

Fethiye to Antalya
Drive along the Mediterranean coast toward Antalya, known as the jewel of the Turkish Riviera. Once there, take a walking tour through the charming Old Harbor and Kaleici district to get oriented to the city.

Antalya to Cappadocia
Depart early for Cappadocia and stop along the way at a 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai. After arriving, explore the underground city of Saratli, which was carved into soft volcanic rock centuries ago.

Cappadocia

Then visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, head to Avanos for a pottery demonstration, and explore Devrent Valley and the Red Valley. Later, you can optionally attend a Whirling Dervishes ceremony.

Ankara to Istanbul
Return to Istanbul and go to the Spice Market to pick up Turkish delights and souvenirs. Take an optional Bosphorus cruise passing Ottoman palaces and waterside mansions between Europe and Asia. Finish the trip with a farewell dinner celebrating the journey.
