Perfect blend of scheduled tours and time on your own. Hotels are always super nice and the coach was very comfortable. Love listening to cultural commentary and history as we travel from location to location. Iceland is a beautiful and fascinating country. The hotel room I was in on the last night had no outlets for me to plug in my phone or flat iron. Bus broke down on our way home so we lost time and were not able to shop. - ADonna Densley· July 25th, 2023The tour to Iceland was spectacular. Iceland is rugged, hostile, and beautiful all at the same time. Our tour guide, Ellert was charming, witty, knowledgeable, willing and able to answer any question, and just amazing when trying to keep 28 adults together. I would highly recommend any tour to Iceland be conducted by this tour guide. Iceland is very family friendly. The trip home was anything but wonderful. The flight from Iceland to Boston went off without issues. The seven hour layover in Boston was not acceptable in the least. Asked on May 16th, 2024which hotel. we are 2 couples. time from one destination to another how long , how many hours in coach/bus how many people in the transport coach/bus. we are planning first week of september will it be too cold or its will be nice.
CIE ToursOperator•Written May 2024If you are looking at the guided coach tour it would have a maximum of 44 passengers. You would not spend more than 2 hours on the coach at a time without a break. The days differ with the amount of time on the coach depending on the day's activities. The weather history for Iceland on those dates' ranges from a high of 53 degrees to a low of 45 degrees.

There would be a maximum of 44 passengers on the coach tour. Departure time is different each day depending on the itinery for the day. We can estimate breakfast will start between 7-8am however this is not guaranteed. Your tour director will advise breakfast times the day prior as well as what the plan for the next day is.
