Phnom Penh to Chau Doc
You'll spend the morning at leisure in Phnom Penh before heading to the pier for a speedboat to Chau Doc. The ride takes about 4 hours and includes a stop for Vietnam visa processing along the way. You'll pass floating villages during the journey, and a local guide meets you at the pier to transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, dinner happens at a local restaurant in the evening.

Chau Doc to Cao Lanh
Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, then you cycle through Chau Doc's backroads. A motorized boat takes you through Tra Su Forest for roughly an hour, followed by a slower sampan ride through the reserved forest where you can spot different bird species. Cycling continues to Binh Thuy for lunch, then you'll check out local handicraft workshops including incense stick making and a bamboo basket village (depending on weather). After learning about the Hoa Hao religion in Cho Moi, you transfer to Cao Lanh for dinner and overnight.

After resting with ginger tea, cycling resumes through Sa Dec Market past orchards and sweet potato fields all the way to Vinh Long. The day ends in Can Tho at a 4-star riverside hotel with your evening free to do as you like.

Can Tho to Ben Tre

Then you head to Ben Tre for a full day of cycling through traditional Khmer villages, visiting thatch houses and colorful temples from Tra On to Cau Ke. After lunch in town, a van drives you about 30 minutes to Tieu Can, and cycling continues through countryside villages alongside canals, rivers, fruit orchards, and rice paddy fields. The day wraps up at a Ben Tre riverside resort for overnight.

A scenic boat ride lets you take in local culture and landscapes while you visit a brick kiln and see coconut candy production. Handicraft stops include sleeping mats, and if time works out, you cycle through dragon fruit orchards between My Tho and Long An before transferring to Saigon to finish the 4-day bike tour.
