- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima whenever works for you. There aren't any organized activities scheduled until the evening when you'll head to a welcome meeting to meet your CEO and the rest of your group. If you get there early, the city is open for exploring, and you can also arrange a full day tour if you'd like before everyone checks out.

Lima to Cusco
A morning flight takes you to Cusco. After landing, the rest of your day is flexible as you settle in and adjust to the higher altitude. Wander around at your own pace and get a feel for the city, or find a quiet spot to rest. Optional activities are available if you want them.

Cusco
You have the full day to explore Cusco. There's plenty to see on your own, and you can also take optional activities if something catches your interest. Take it at whatever pace feels comfortable as your body continues adjusting to the altitude.

Sacred Valley
Head out through the Sacred Valley visiting a women's weaving co-op and a pottery community. Lunch happens at a local community restaurant where you'll eat with people from the area. After that, you'll pick between two options: a hike up to ancient storehouses or stopping by a local corn beer bar.

Aguas Calientes
The scenic train winds through the Sacred Valley toward Aguas Calientes. Once you arrive, the afternoon opens up for relaxing or trying optional activities like soaking in hot springs, visiting the butterfly house or botanical gardens, or hiking to Mandor Gardens.

Machu Picchu
Start early and catch the first bus heading up to Machu Picchu. A guide walks you through these ancient ruins during the morning. Later you'll take a train back to Cusco for the evening.

Cusco to Puno
A bus journey takes you through the high Altiplano region toward Lake Titicaca. The drive takes most of the day as you climb toward the world's largest lake sitting above 3800m. You'll arrive in Puno by evening and have time to walk around this small city.

Lake Titicaca
A boat takes you across Lake Titicaca to Taquile Island where you'll eat lunch with local people and enjoy views out over the water. Then you'll visit the floating islands of Uros before heading back to Puno. If interested, there's an optional stop at the Sillustani burial site.

Puno to La Paz

La Paz

You have the day to yourself in Sucre, Bolivia's former capital. Sucre to Potosí
This morning you'll take a local bus heading to Potosí. As you approach the city, Cerro Rico mountain comes into view, rising dramatically above the landscape. It's quite a sight as you roll in, and the mountain dominates the scenery around the entire city.

Potosí to Uyuni
The bus travels through beautiful Bolivian landscape to Uyuni, the starting point for your three-day 4x4 adventure into the Salar de Uyuni salt flats.

Your three-day 4x4 excursion begins as you head into the Salar de Uyuni. The endless white expanse creates incredible photo opportunities with depth illusions that make for great shots. By evening you'll reach a G Adventures-supported community lodge in a traditional desert oasis village.

Salar de Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama
Wake early to cover more ground and take in the incredible scenery including volcanoes, salt lakes, and geysers. Near the border you'll switch to a bus and descend almost 2000m to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. The long drive through the altiplano offers scenic views the whole way.

San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama to Santiago

Valparaíso to Santiago to Pucón
The morning in Valparaíso is yours to explore. Later you'll head to the Casablanca Valley for a winery tour and tasting. From there, you'll return to Santiago with free time before catching an overnight bus to Pucón.

You'll go back to the Argentine side to explore the trails, including those right over the Devil's Throat, which is the highest and deepest section of the falls.
