- Day 1
Atlanta
You'll land at the airport and use the free shuttle to get to your hotel. It's a straightforward arrival, giving you time to settle in and get oriented before things kick off tomorrow.
- Day 2
Chattanooga
Start by visiting the Road to Tara Museum and Stately Oaks Plantation, where you'll see original Gone with the Wind movie props. After that, you'll check out downtown and midtown Atlanta before heading to the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Center. By evening, you'll drive to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a brief orientation tour along the Tennessee River.

Chattanooga to Nashville
Head to Nashville, the country music capital, and spend your day exploring the recording studios and clubs where live music fills the air. Later in the evening, you'll catch a country and western dinner show at the Nashville Nightlife Theater to get a real taste of the local scene.

Nashville to Memphis
You'll travel to Memphis, Elvis Presley's hometown, and take a city tour to get your bearings. If you're interested, Graceland (Elvis's home) is available to visit, though you'll need to book it once you arrive in town.

- Day 5
Memphis to Natchez
You'll drive through the heart of the old South following the Mississippi River toward Natchez. The landscape here is something special with the river valley stretching out around you. By afternoon you'll reach Natchez, the oldest city on the river, where you can walk through its antebellum mansions and soak in the historic atmosphere.

Natchez to New Orleans
You'll drive through Mississippi and Louisiana, stopping to see an old cotton plantation and get a sense of that history. From there, you'll continue on to New Orleans, where you'll settle in for the night in Louisiana's most famous city.

New Orleans
Start with a guided tour through the French Quarter, the real heart of New Orleans. After that, the day is yours to explore the city however you like. There's also an option to book a jazz brunch followed by a paddle steamer trip on the Mississippi River if that appeals to you.

New Orleans to Montgomery
You'll drive along the Gulf Coast through Mobile and head to Montgomery, Alabama's capital. Once you arrive, you'll take a tour focused on Montgomery's important role in the civil rights movement during the mid-20th century.

Montgomery to Savannah
You'll continue east into Georgia and reach Savannah, a historic city that's been used as a film location for Hollywood productions and serves as Georgia's main port. Savannah to Charleston
You'll take a city tour through Savannah's historic old town with its leafy squares and beautifully restored homes. Later, you'll drive to Charleston, another historic southern city from 1670 that was one of America's most important cities until the late 1800s. You'll see the city center and visitor center, where British colonial heritage is still visible in the architecture and layout.

Charleston to Atlanta
You'll visit Boone Plantation, a working farm for over 300 years and the filming location for the Nicolas Sparks adaptation 'Like a Single Day'. After that, you'll head through Augusta (home of the famous Masters golf tournament) and make your way back to Atlanta to complete the loop.
