- Day 1
Tangier to Chefchaouen
Your driver picks you up in Tangier and you'll head through the Rif Mountains, stopping in Tétouan along the way. The road takes you to Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl for its striking blue-painted buildings. Once you arrive, you can wander through the medina's narrow lanes and check out the distinctive architecture before settling into your riad or hotel for the evening.

Chefchaouen to Fes
After eating breakfast, you're heading out of Chefchaouen toward Fes, but first there's a stop at Volubilis, the Roman ruins that are recognized as a UNESCO site. The mosaics and columns there give a real sense of what the city was like centuries ago. Once in Fes, you'll walk through the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the Medina, then see the exterior of the Kairaouine Mosque before heading back to your accommodation for dinner.

Chefchaouen to Fes
You'll leave Chefchaouen right after breakfast and drive toward Fes with a detour to Volubilis. The Roman ruins there have well-preserved mosaics, arches, and columns from the old settlement. Later in Fes, you can explore the Mellah and the old Medina, taking in the atmosphere of the bustling streets and seeing the Kairaouine Mosque from outside. Your riad or hotel awaits you for dinner and the night.

Desert to Ouarzazate
This morning starts with sunrise and breakfast in the desert, then you'll ride camels back across the dunes to where you started. After getting back to the hotel for a shower and another meal, you're heading toward Ouarzazate. The route includes a stop at Jorf to see traditional underground irrigation systems, then the Todra Gorge with its dramatic high cliffs. You'll pass through the Valley of Roses and visit a women's cooperative that makes rose products before arriving in Ouarzazate for dinner.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Starting after breakfast, you'll see Kasbah Taourirt and the famous Atlas and CLA Studios, where films like 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Sahara' were shot. From there, you head to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site with its fortress-like mud-brick structures. Driving through Tizi n'Tichka Pass takes you over the High Atlas at 2,260 meters. You'll stop in Taddart for lunch at a restaurant with panoramic views before the final drive into Marrakech and hotel drop-off.
