El Calafate
You'll get picked up at El Calafate airport and head into town to settle into your accommodation. The afternoon and evening are free to walk around and get oriented, with a welcome dinner planned to meet the group.

- Day 2
El Calafate to El Chaltén
After breakfast, you'll take a 220 km bus ride to El Chaltén, stopping midway for local pastries and coffee. Once there, you'll start your trek carrying only essentials for 2 nights of camping in the National Park. The first day takes you up the Fitz Roy trail through the River de las Vueltas valley with gentle slopes, reaching viewpoints of the Fitz Roy massif after a couple of hours, then another 2 hours to camp with views of the spires.

Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres
You'll wake early to catch the morning light on Fitz Roy's pink granite walls. After breakfast, pack just day items (parka, gloves, camera, water, lunch) and hike up to Rio Blanco basecamp, then take a steep 1-hour climb to Laguna de los Tres. The turquoise lagoon sits right at the foot of the Fitz Roy massif with close-up views of the spires and glaciers. You'll head back to camp by late afternoon.

Cerro Torre Trail and Return
You'll hike south through Lagoons Madre and Hija Valley down to the Fitz Roy River valley, then meet up with the Cerro Torre trail. The route winds through beech forest, bogs, and shrubland to Laguna Torre, a glacier-fed lake often with icebergs pushed by wind. The 3,128-meter Cerro Torre group and Adela range backdrop the views. Later you'll hike back to El Chaltén along the Cerro Torre trail in the afternoon.

Viewpoint Trek
Today's hike goes to a mountain just south of Cerro Torre valley, offering some of the best views over the different mountain groups, glaciers, and lakes. From the lower terraces to the summit, you'll see Fitz Roy, Torre, and the glacier valley between them. Your group decides whether to visit the lower terraces or try the longer but gentle summit climb across scree for bonus views of Paso del Viento. You're back in Chaltén by late afternoon.

El Chaltén
You have the day to yourself to explore El Chaltén town or join optional excursions in the area. Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer back to El Calafate.

Perito Moreno Glacier
You'll visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the world's natural wonders. This ice field flows from the Patagonian Icefield and is the only glacier on Earth with a regular closure and rupture process. You'll watch huge chunks of ice calving into the turquoise lake with frequent collapses and the roar of falling ice. After taking in the experience, you'll return to your El Calafate accommodation.

- Day 8
El Calafate to Torres del Paine
You'll start early for a 6-hour drive across the patagonian steppe to your camp in Paine, partly following the legendary Route 40 and around the impressive Sierra de los Baguales. You'll cross the Argentina-Chile border at Cancha Carrera/Cerro Castillo. After formalities, you'll enter Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you approach, the distinctive mountains start appearing: Paine Grande, the Horns, Admiral Nieto, and the Towers. Once in the park, a short 1-2 hour walk familiarizes you with the landscape, wind, and wildlife. You'll finish at your camp at the foot of the Paine massif.

- Day 9
Paine Towers Trek
You'll start early walking toward the bridge over the Ascensio River for the world-famous Paine Towers. A steep one-hour climb gets you into the narrow 'V'-shaped alpine valley from the Paine massif. Gentle downhill brings you to Refugio Chileno, a good turnaround point for shorter hikes. The trail continues along the riverside through beech forest with a final moraine climb to reach the Towers viewpoint where three towers rise vertically 1,000 meters from the glacier. You'll return to camp the same way. Total walking: 7-8 hours.

French Valley Trek
An early 1-hour drive takes you to Port Pudeto where you'll board a catamaran across Lake Pehoe. After crossing, you'll head out on the French Valley trail. The path hugs the south slopes of Paine Grande and Lake Skottberg with 2.5 hours of ups and downs to a hanging bridge over the French River. This location sits at the foot of both the 2,700-meter southeast face of Paine Grande and the distinctive Horns. You'll continue 1 hour further to Italian Camp for more views. After lunch and photos, you'll retrace your steps back to Paine Grande Full Camp. Total walking: 5-6 hours.

Lake Grey Trail and Puerto Natales
The Lake Grey trail takes you across ridges from Pehoe valley to Grey valley, which flows 60 km down from the Patagonian Icefield. Your route skirts the lake, ascending and descending the western slopes of Paine Grande with some of the park's most impressive views. You'll see the south end where blue icebergs gather, mountains rising above Glaciers Grey and Tyndall, and diverse wildlife. The return follows the same trail. Back at Paine Grande Refuge, you'll take the boat across Lake Pehoe and then transfer to Puerto Natales, a fishing town on the Ultima Esperanza fjord.

Puerto Natales to Ushuaia
You'll drive south toward the legendary Magellan Strait, keeping it in view until Primera Angostura where you'll board a ferry to cross. Discovered by Hernando de Magallanes in 1520, this passage was the natural ship route until the Panama Canal opened. You'll cross into Tierra del Fuego, literally 'Land of Fire,' named for the fires early sailors saw. You'll re-enter Argentina through Paso San Sebastián. Upon arrival in Ushuaia, a transfer takes you to your hotel.

- Day 13

Today is yours to enjoy however you'd like. You can choose optional activities that suit your interests. Ushuaia, being Argentina's southernmost city, offers various possibilities for exploration and activities.

Beagle Channel and Penguin Island
After breakfast, you'll walk to the Ushuaia Tourist Pier for a full day of activities. You'll navigate the Beagle Channel to the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, see Los Lobos Island and Los Patos Island, visit the Acatushun Museum at the pioneering Estancia Harberton, and get the chance to walk among penguins on Isla Martillo.

Ushuaia Departure
You'll spend the morning at your own pace exploring Ushuaia on the north coast of the Beagle Channel. The town has interesting museums and distinctive architecture worth checking out. In the afternoon, you'll get transferred to Ushuaia airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Tour services end at the airport.
