Itinerary

Day 1
Rainbow Mountains of Palcoyo
Your pickup happens around 6:30 am from your Cusco hotel, then you'll head southeast for about 3.5 hours through Cusco Valley to reach the trailhead. From there, a 30-minute hike takes you through herds of alpacas and llamas up to Palcoyo at 5,020 m/16,470 ft. You'll have roughly an hour to walk around the rock formations and take photos before heading back down, which takes another 30 minutes. After that, there's a picnic lunch with views stretching out across the landscape. The drive back to your hotel covers 3 hours, and you should arrive between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Crossover Peru. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
