Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Alaska and meet your tour director at your hotel between 3 pm and 7 pm. Take time to settle in and get ready for what's coming over the next week.
- Day 2
Fairbanks to Denali National Park
Start by boarding the sternwheeler Discovery for a cruise on the Chena River. You'll stop at Chena Village to learn about Athabascan Native culture and meet Iditarod mushers with their dog teams. After that, head to Denali National Park where a local naturalist gives you a presentation about the park before dinner at a restaurant in the area.

Denali National Park
The morning is yours to choose how you spend it. There's an optional float trip down the Nenana River or a helicopter ride over the park if you want something active. In the afternoon, you'll go into Denali National Park with a naturalist driver guide on a tundra wilderness tour. You might see grizzly bears, caribou, moose, Dall sheep, and wolves. Your evening is free to relax.

Denali National Park to Talkeetna
Visit an Iditarod musher's home where they'll share stories about their races and you'll meet champion sled dogs. Then you'll board the Alaska Railroad for a scenic ride through the Alaskan wilderness that ends in Talkeetna. You'll stay overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge with views of Denali.

Talkeetna to Seward
Have a traditional Alaskan breakfast at the historic Talkeetna Roadhouse. From there, you'll head south toward Anchorage and then drive along the scenic Kenai Peninsula on the way to Seward. Later this evening, join your tour director and fellow travelers for a farewell dinner.

Kenai Fjords National Park
Board your vessel for a cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park. You'll watch glaciers calving into the sea and look for orcas, humpback whales, sea otters, and other wildlife in this pristine arctic setting.

Departure
