Arrival in Switzerland
Your river cruise starts with arrival in Zurich or Basel by 3 pm. After you get settled in your suite, head on board by 5 pm and grab dinner while the ship sets sail toward Breisach. Take some time to walk around and get familiar with the ship as you settle in for the evening.

Breisach to Strasbourg
Today you'll pick from several options in the Black Forest and Rhine valley area. Bike along the Rhine if that appeals to you, or take a full-day guided tour of the Black Forest with stops at Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum and a water mill. Medieval Freiburg is another choice, and the charming village of Colmar is available in the morning if you're interested. By evening you'll cruise to Strasbourg.

Bike around the city with your Adventure Host, or join a guided tour covering the Gothic cathedral with its stained-glass windows and astronomical clock, plus the La Petite France district. You can visit the Maginot Line fortifications or explore Alsace's wine country if those interest you. Alternatively, take free time to visit museums or just walk through the city center at your own pace.

In Rudesheim, start by choosing between a vineyard hike with your Adventure Host or the Mechanical Music Museum paired with authentic Rudesheimer coffee. This afternoon, relax on the Sky Deck while you sail through the Rhine Gorge heading toward Boppard. Spend some free time at the Rheinallee Promenade grabbing snacks and drinks, then board for your cruise to Frankfurt where you'll have live entertainment onboard.

Bike through the city with your Adventure Host, take a guided tour to Seligenstadt (one of Germany's oldest towns with the Einhard Basilika), or see Frankfurt's cultural landmarks, financial district, and quieter neighborhoods on a sightseeing tour. After your activities, watch live entertainment as the ship cruises to Wertheim.

If you want to venture further, the fairytale town of Rothenburg is available. Later, enjoy live entertainment onboard as the ship heads to Bamberg.

You'll see the Romanesque cathedral, Old Town Hall, and the seven hills topped with churches. After the tour, spend free time enjoying a glass of German-style Rauchbier (smoked beer). By evening you'll cruise to Nuremberg.
