The first part day 1-6 in north Portugal was excellent and enjoyable with altogether 4 passengers in a 7 seater Mercedes. The guide Joalo Paulo Poiarez serving as a guide and driver was extremely helpful, cheerful, and resourceful. The second part on day 7 with a one day trip to Sintra was confusing and stressful as we were left unattended in Marques de Pombal despite arriving through arranged transfer that was punctual and waiting in the designated area as was told but still missing the bus (with a large group of over 30 people) simply because we were left in the dark with nobody approaching us. The last part day 8 -11 in the south of Portugal was difficult as we had 9 passengers (7 from a single group) in a nice small Mercedes bus. The driver Marios and the guide Susanna were excellent in their assigned work. Unfortunately, the rest of of the group (7 women from one booking) was utterly inconsiderate by making this part of the trip unbearable because of their unrestrained loud laughs and racket that they made throughout the whole journey. I agree that certain behaviour of the passengers was beyond the control of the staff and it was understandable but by breaking the tour into 3 different parts by the company and the unanticipated and constant shuffling on the composition of company and vehicles makes adjustment demanding. Is there always a place to store our luggage, we do not want to be dragging our lugage around as we tour. The tour is primarily conducted by a comfortable coach bus, which will handle all transportation between destinations and excursions. However, on Day 1, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the meeting point where the tour begins. Once the tour starts, transportation will be fully taken care of. The coach bus is equipped with a dedicated luggage storage compartment, so you won't need to carry your bags around during travel. At each hotel, you will have the option to leave your luggage securely in your room or with hotel services if needed. We do not offer triple rooms for this tour. We offer single and double rooms.
