Very good accommodation and food and beverages first class. Negatives which there were a few. The brochure and itinerary indicated check in was from 4pm and we would set sail at 6pm. When we arrived we were informed check in was fact 6pm and we would set sail the following morning. We were woken at 05.30am by the sound of the engines. The barge encountered an engine problem and had to stop at Regua and we transferred to a small local ferry and we had to encounter over 2 hours of a very uncomfortable journey sitting on upright plastic chairs plus the toilet facilities were disgraceful and a very limited stock of refreshments Whilst we appreciate problems do occur when you are paying for a premium experience you expect a premium contingency not a ferry. The brochure / itinerary indicated “Important the trip does not accept children” yet our trip had 2 children. We love children but…..words and figures do not match.
