Asked on October 2nd, 2025Where would be the nearest airport to fly into for this tour and would the tour guide pick me up from the airport? I am a solo traveler and a bit nervous about travelling Africa alone. Is this a well-respected tour, do you often get solo guests and are they always safe? Are tents provided? Will the tour end at an airport so I can fly to my next destination?
G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2025The best arrival airport would be Victoria Falls (VFA) airport. An arrival transfer is not included in the tour price but can be added for an additional cost. Most of our travelers are solo female travelers and we take safety very seriously. You will have a tour guide with you at all times and there is a team on the ground monitoring safety. All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied. We supply dome tents and assembly/disassembly takes only 5 minutes. All tents have built-in insect nets. Mattresses are also available, which are approximately 4cm thick, warm and comfortable. The tour ends at a hotel in Windhoek, so you will need to book a transfer to the airport.

We do have this tour running in the opposite direction, starting in Windhoek and ending in Victoria falls, but sadly the first available departure on that tour will be for the dates : Sat, 26 Jul - Sat, 02 Aug.
