Itinerary

Brasília to Alto Paraíso
You'll arrive at Brasília Airport or head straight to your accommodation, then get transferred to Alto Paraíso, which is about 230 km away. Once you reach your hotel, you'll check in and have time to settle in before the week begins.

Alto Paraíso
After breakfast, you're heading to the São Miguel River area where you'll walk the canyon-edge trail at Espaço Infinito farm and see a 40-meter waterfall. From there, you'll check out the Valley of the Moon to see the unusual rock formations, and if you're interested, there's an optional stop at the hot water pools at Jequitibá. By late afternoon, you'll have lunch in São Jorge.

- Day 3
Alto Paraíso
This morning you'll head into Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park for guided hikes to the canyons. You'll walk through Canyon II with its quartzite rock walls and pools, then continue to Cariocas waterfalls where the Black River drops 30 meters over the rocks. Later in the afternoon, you'll head back to São Jorge for lunch.

- Day 4
Alto Paraíso
Today's hike takes you to the Black River Falls to see two waterfalls, a 120-meter drop with that famous postcard view and then an 80-meter waterfall that has a large swimming pool below it. On the way back, you'll cool off in the natural whirlpools at Pedreiras. Lunch happens back in São Jorge in the late afternoon.

Alto Paraíso to Brasília
After breakfast and checking out, you'll travel from São Jorge back toward Alto Paraíso with a stop at São Bento Farm to see the Almécegas I waterfall, which has a 45-meter drop. There's an optional zipline experience if you're interested. You'll continue to Alto Paraíso for a shower and lunch, then head to Brasília Airport for flights leaving after 6 PM.
