Itinerary
- Day 1
High Atlas Mountains to Todra Gorge
Start early this morning and drive across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, where you'll see some of Morocco's most scenic mountain views. After about three and a half hours, stop for lunch in Ouarzazate to stretch and refuel. Then continue driving through the Valley of the Roses and the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs, heading toward Todra Gorge. The full drive takes around 7 hours total, so you'll arrive with time to settle in before evening.

- Day 2
Todra Gorge to Merzouga Sahara Desert
After breakfast, take a guided walk through the palmerie and Kasbah in Tinghir to get a feel for local life and architecture. Have lunch at Todra Gorge, then drive about 4 hours to reach Merzouga Dunes. The route takes you through Erfoud and past the Rissani Oasis, then across sandy tracks to Merzouga village. Once you arrive at the base of Erg Chebbi dune, board a camel for an evening ride into the desert and spend the night at a traditional Berber camp.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Get up early to climb the dunes and catch the sunrise from above the sand, then ride camels back to your hotel in Merzouga. After breakfast, head out for Ouarzazate by driving about 6 hours across a vast stony plain via Alnif and Tazarine. Along the way, stop to visit the Kasbah at Ait Benhaddou, which sits as a historic landmark on this route before you reach Ouarzazate.

- Day 4
Ouarzazate to High Atlas Mountains
In the morning, visit the Glaoui Kasbah at Telouet to see the architecture and learn about local history. Then continue across the Tizi n Tichka mountain pass, where you'll drive through winding roads with dramatic views of the High Atlas Mountains surrounding you. This drive takes around 4 hours and brings you back through the mountains with plenty of scenic stops along the way.
