Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll get picked up at the airport and taken directly to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you like, so take it easy, walk around the neighborhood, or head out to get a feel for Rio de Janeiro on your own schedule.
- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro City Tour
This is a full day exploring Rio's main sights. You'll go up to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado mountain, walk through Tijuca Forest, see Maracana Stadium and the Sambadrome, check out the Metropolitan Cathedral, then ride the cable car at Sugar Loaf. Later you'll hit the beaches at Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon to finish out the day.

Tijuca National Park Ecological Tour
An ecological tour through Tijuca National Park, which is Brazil's most visited park. You start at Pedra Bonita's free flight ramp for views of Morro Dois Irmãos, then do a light 40-minute hike up to the summit. From there you'll walk through the forest to see Cascatinha Taunay waterfall, Chapel Mayrink, the Visitors Center, and Cachoeira das Almas waterfall, ending with a refreshing dip to rinse off.

Free Day in Rio
You have the whole day free. Spend it however you want around Rio de Janeiro, whether that's more beach time, checking out neighborhoods you missed, or just relaxing and taking things slow.
- Day 5
Rio to Salvador
Transfer from your Rio hotel to the airport for your flight to Salvador. Once you land at Salvador airport, someone will be there to pick you up and drive you to your hotel in Bahia.
- Day 6
Salvador Afro-Brazilian Cultural Tour
You'll start with a percussion workshop learning traditional drums from Candomblé ceremonies, then take a capoeira class to learn the history and basic moves like ginga. Later you'll use public transportation to get to São Joaquim market, the most traditional market in Bahia, where you can sample local food and explore the stalls. The day ends at Elevador Lacerda, the world's first urban elevator, where you'll get panoramic views of Baía de Todos os Santos.

Salvador Historical Tour
A 4-hour historical tour of Salvador starts at the Barra Lighthouse from 1698, then passes through Vitória Corridor and Campo Grande. You'll walk the narrow streets of the Historic Center, see old mansions and squares, visit Terreiro de Jesus, São Francisco Church, Mercy Museum, Olodum House, and finish at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos.

Free Day in Salvador
The morning and afternoon are yours to explore Salvador at your own pace or just rest up. In the evening, there's an optional folkloric show dinner with cultural performances including Maculelê, Xaxado, Dance of the Orixás, Puxada de Rede, Samba, and Capoeira, followed by a traditional Bahian meal.

Departure
