Itinerary
- Day 1
Lisbon Arrival
You'll land at Lisbon airport and get transferred to your hotel. Check-in starts at 3 PM, so you'll have the rest of the afternoon to settle in and get comfortable.



- Day 2
Belém - Cascais - Cabo da Roca - Sintra
After breakfast, head to Belém at 9 AM to see monuments from the Portuguese Discoveries and try the famous Pastel de Belém tart. Drive along the coast to Cascais for lunch, then visit Cabo da Roca (continental Europe's westernmost point), and head to Sintra to wander the UNESCO World Heritage village. You'll return to Lisbon in the evening.

- Day 4
Óbidos - Nazaré - Alcobaça - Fátima
After breakfast, depart at 9 AM to Óbidos, a medieval walled village where you can try cherry liquor (Ginja de Óbidos) served in a chocolate cup. Continue to Nazaré, known for massive waves and a huge beach with time for lunch. Then visit Alcobaça monastery church (UNESCO World Heritage) to see Pedro and Inês's tombs and taste convent pastries made from 12th-century Cistercian recipes. The day ends in Fátima with accommodation and free time.

- Day 5
Aljustrel - Coimbra - Douro Valley
After breakfast, depart at 9 AM to Coimbra, stopping in Aljustrel to see Sister Lucia's house from the Fátima shepherd story. In Coimbra, tour Portugal's oldest university and its UNESCO World Heritage library, then have free time to walk the city center and grab lunch. Later, continue to the Douro Valley with its hillside vineyards sloping toward the river (UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's first demarcated wine region since 1756). You'll arrive in the evening with accommodation and free time.

Pinhão - Lamego
After breakfast, depart at 9 AM into the Douro Valley wine country, reaching Pinhão village with its train station decorated in traditional tile paintings. Take a boat ride on the Douro River in a traditional rabelo boat and visit a winery for Port wine tasting. Then head to Lamego to climb the 686 baroque steps up to Senhora dos Remédios sanctuary for city views. You'll have free time to wander the city center and eat lunch, followed by accommodation and free time.

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage historic center with well-preserved buildings and granite streets. See Portugal's first castle and the Paço dos Duques Palace, both within easy walking distance. You'll have free time for lunch and strolling before heading to Porto for accommodation and free time.

After breakfast, start a scenic Porto tour at 9 AM exploring the city's main locations. You'll finish at Serra do Pilar viewpoint with views over Porto's 19th-century bridges, traditional rabelo boats, wine cellars, and the Ribeira riverfront. Later, return to your hotel or stay downtown to explore on your own, coming back whenever you want. The afternoon is free.

Porto Departure
