Itinerary
- Day 1
Lisbon
You'll arrive at Lisbon airport and get transferred to your hotel. Check-in starts at 3 PM, so you can settle in and then spend the rest of the day however you like, whether that's taking a walk around the neighborhood or staying in to rest after your flight.
- Day 2
Belém - Cascais - Cabo da Roca - Sintra - Lisbon
After breakfast, head to Belém to walk through monuments from the Age of Discoveries and try the famous Pastel de Belém tart. Then move along the coast to Cascais for lunch and some free time before visiting Cabo da Roca, Europe's westernmost point. From there, continue to Sintra to see the historic UNESCO village, then return to Lisbon with the evening to yourself.

Lisbon
You'll have breakfast and then the entire day is yours to do whatever you want. There are optional day tours available if you'd like to explore regions around Lisbon, or you can join activities and experiences in the city itself.

- Day 4
Óbidos - Nazaré - Alcobaça - Fátima
After breakfast, head out to Óbidos, a quaint medieval village where you can try the local cherry liquor called Ginja served in a chocolate cup. Continue to Nazaré, known for its huge beach and giant waves, with free time to grab lunch. Next, visit the UNESCO monastery at Alcobaça to see the tombs of Pedro and Inês from Portugal's famous love story and taste traditional convent pastries made using recipes from 12th century Cistercian monks. You'll end the day in Fátima with accommodation and time to relax.

Aljustrel - Coimbra - Douro Valley
After breakfast, head to Coimbra with a stop in Aljustrel, the village where the three Fátima shepherds were born, and you can see Sister Lucia's house. In Coimbra, visit Portugal's oldest university and its UNESCO library. You'll have free time to walk around the city center and have lunch before continuing to the Douro Valley with its terraced vineyards and river views, the world's first demarcated wine region since 1756.

Pinhão - Lamego - Douro Valley
After breakfast, travel through the Douro Valley wine country along the river to reach Pinhão, a village with a train station decorated in traditional tile paintings. You'll take a boat ride in a traditional Rabelo boat through the valley, one of the region's highlights, then visit a winery to taste Port wines. Later, go to Lamego to see the Senhora dos Remédios sanctuary with its 686 baroque steps overlooking the city. Free time in the city center for lunch and exploring before returning for the evening.

Guimarães - Porto
After breakfast, head to Guimarães, known as Portugal's birthplace where the Portuguese county was founded. Walk through the wonderfully preserved historic center, a UNESCO site with granite streets and old buildings. You'll see Portugal's first castle and the Paço dos Duques Palace, plus have free time in the historic center for lunch. Then continue to Porto for accommodation and free time in the evening.

Porto
Start with breakfast and then join a scenic tour of Porto at 9 AM to see its most important spots. The tour ends at Serra do Pilar viewpoint with the best views of Porto's 19th century bridges, traditional Rabelo boats, wine cellars, and the Ribeira riverfront. You can head back to your hotel with the group or stay in the city center to explore on your own and return later. The afternoon is completely free.

Aveiro - Lisbon
After breakfast and checking out, head to Aveiro, a fascinating city on the Portuguese coast known for its canals and traditional Moliceiro boats. You'll take a boat ride through the canals to see the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings from the water. Free time lets you explore and have lunch before heading back to Lisbon for accommodation and an evening to yourself.
