  Meghan was the tour guide for my trip and she was fabulous! The sights were beautiful, and meghan made sure we had enough time to fully explore everything and gave us all the interesting background of the locations… as well as making sure to see all the items on our bingo cards. The tour group ranged from 10-94 but the majority in their 20s-30s, and there was something perfectly catered to fit everyones interests. Also, if you are traveling alone this tour is a great option! The cool thing about tours is you are always traveling with people who want to explore, but also make friends! So at the end of the trip you’ve met so many new people from so many different places. If you haven’t been to Banff it is a must see and this is such an amazing way to see it, and if you have I completely understand why you’re rushing back. This trip takes all stress the planning out of the equation, provides lots of good recommendations in local places you’ll stop, helps you experience some great food, see the most beautiful sights, the accommodations were better than expected, and you'll make great friends! The price of the tour is considerably low for how great the tour, the sights, time spent, accommodations, and all that’s included. Really worth every penny! I only hope everyone is as lucky as I was to get Meghan as my guide, and to have the most fantastic travel companions!

  Had an amazing trip through the rockies! Ben and Cian was great & very knowledgable guide and very warm that made the trip even more exciting! I would highly reccomend this tour amount other West Trek tours offered! The package was amazing. All the stops were stunning. I really had fun. Was great experience. Highly recommend this trip to go on.

  I would have rated this tour as 4.5 stars, if there is an option! ",) Ian M. is an excellent driver/humorist/informative tour guide/patient and accomodating host! Ample time was given to us "tourists" to enjoy the itinerary (Ice Explorer adventure, Gondola ride at Banff, Lakes visit, etc.)! Plus we got to visit Emerald Lake, and a surprise detour to Bow Fall and river at the heart of Banff! To me, the Summer Explorer tour covers the highlights of a Canadian Rockies experience! Some areas could make the tour to 5 stars: 1. Please, no pre-packed bagged breakfasts. I am willing to pay extra for a proper seated hot meal and HOT COFFEE, to jumpstart the mornings! (this should be offered to all tours, not only to the upgraded "Premium" ones). 2. Pls. ensure there is water (bottled) in the bus, or potable water at the hotels/lodges. Thanks++ to Ian for voluntarily providing bottled water for us (out of his pocket!)! Again, we (we're a party of 3) would be even willing to pay extra to keep us hydrated during the 3N/4D tour! Overall, I would recommend this Explorer Tour to a friend! It would be a 5 stars tour if proper breakfasts are provided, and clients' hyration (water) needs are met. Thank you!

  Firstly, the company is very responsive and helpful with regard to multiple inquiries. For the same, I'd like to thank Benjamin. The tour was our highlight of the trip and literally the only thing that turned out great during all the rainy days of our holiday. Despite the weather and activity changes/cancellations, the itinerary was so well planned and timed that, along with the natural and magnificent beauty of all the places seen, it was amazing! It obviously may have been even better had it been better weather/summer, but the fact that we still were able to enjoy and appreciate the beauty, I'd totally recommend it! The bagged breakfasts were also good, in my opinion, unless you are expecting something grand like bagels/pancakes/coffee etc. It's bagged, and getting fruits/yogurt/bars/muffin/juice/etc is good enough in my opinion. The hotels were good too (again, considering you are just sleeping there for a night), and the company made sure to make good arrangements when there was a sudden issue with one. Our driver, who was also the guide, Luke, gave us a bit of history, recommendations, and was very considerate--whether about people sleeping, elders needing legroom, requests, weather effects, etc. He was also always on time and reachable. Everything was "alright, alright"! (In case you have him--he's also an actor and a sound producer!) Thank you everyone for giving us a good experience and memories!

  The tour was great and Michelle was excellent. She really made the tour special. Great personality and good knowledge. There was a couple of complications with the coach but Michelle just adapted and managed the situation great so it had no / little impact on the tour. Would highly recommend.   The tour has been absolutely brilliant!! Our guide, Michelle, was absolutely amazing during the 4 days of exploring and went above and beyond to fix things when mechanical issues out of anyone's control happened. During the whole trip she was approachable, fun, professional, friendly, a fountain of knowledge when it came to all the places that we visited and overall the best tour guide I ever had so far on a trip. The tour itself is very well designed for giving you a taster of what the Rockies have to offer and will definitely leave you wanting to come back and explore further. Everything that is included in the price is absolutely worth it, the accommodation in all 3 places is great (don't be put off by the bed sharing aspect, it's all part of the experience and turns out to be a great thing at the end of the day), you get plenty of opportunities to explore a bit on your own as well and Michelle is great at suggesting what could you do and where could you go during your free time. I definitely recommend booking the extra activities as well (the icefields walk and the gondola at Lake Louise Ski Resort) as they really add to the magic of the whole trip. All in all, definitely take this trip if you come to Vancouver, definitely book it with Discover Canada Tours as you will get your money's worth, and if you are lucky enough to get Michelle as your guide, then you are definitely in for a treat!!!

  Luke was absolutely fantastic. He was full of knowledge and made the long ride fun, whether it was explaining the history of parts of our trip, making up a game or two, or throwing a few jokes about. Our driver Reneé was also amazing, so kind and helpful with bags and luggage and also had a witty sense of humour. The trip over all was absolutely fantastic, it would be something I would absolutely recommend and I hope to be able to do this tour again.
