Itinerary

Day 1
High Atlas Mountains
Your hotel pickup happens at 7:30 am after you've had breakfast, then you're heading into the High Atlas Mountains. The day starts with checking out the weekly market in Asni, where you can see local goods and get a feel for how things work in the region. From there, you'll drive through winding roads that take you past views of both the Imlil and Azzaden valleys. A star tour at Tizi Oussem gives you time to see Tamsoult's landscape and visit a local waterfall. Plan on about 4 to 5 hours of walking mixed in with 2 hours of driving throughout the day.

Imlil Valley
You'll start by exploring Imlil village, then settle in for a cooking lesson with a local chef who teaches you traditional Moroccan cooking techniques. After that, there's a hike through Imlil Valley with the Atlas Mountains surrounding you on all sides. Lunch comes next and features the dishes you prepared during the cooking session. The afternoon after lunch is left open, so you can either walk around Imlil village more or just rest back at your accommodation.

I had the most incredible experience on this 3-day hiking trip! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, allowing me to fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and the unique culture along the way. The hikes took us through stunning mountain trails, remote villages, and beautiful valleys. Every day brought new scenery that felt like it was straight out of a postcard. The trails were well-planned, offering just the right balance of challenge and enjoyment. Our driver was fantastic punctual, friendly, and always making sure everything ran smoothly. While he wasn’t a guide, he was super helpful in arranging local guides when needed, and his knowledge of the area made the experience even better. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was delicious just what we needed after long days of hiking! Everything about this trip was thoughtfully planned, making it completely stress-free and allowing me to focus on the adventure. If you're looking for a real, immersive hiking experience with stunning scenery and great organization, I highly recommend this trip. I’ll definitely be back for another adventure!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 31st, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 31st, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with MTB in Morocco. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and MTB in Morocco will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
