I specifically booked with a Canadian company and was happy to see that they advertise as "hassle free" and "exceptional travel experience." My complaint is with the hotel that Wingbuddy booked me in. I paid a premium for an upgraded hotel. Imagine my dismay when my stay at this hotel included daily construction outside my room Monday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00. This was a a full scale construction area-jack hammers and all. When I asked hotel staff to change rooms I was told no other room was available as the hotel was fully booked. Staff at the hotel said that Wingbuddy was fully aware of this as other guests had complained and construction had started July 2024. I cannot understand why the company did not reach out to me and ask if I still wanted the upgrade, and or offer another hotel. When I reached out to Wingbuddy they apologized, said they were not aware of the construction and refused to offer any compensation. Please be advised that the adventures we offer will not include international airfare, as travellers can join the trip from many different countries. We do have a helpful place to search flight prices and book your own flights. You will be responsible for booking your own flights to meet at the starting city of your adventure. The transfers will still be included if you arrive and depart on these days at anytime, otherwise, the transfer will no longer be available.

This package includes the entrance to the Blue Lagoon and you will be provided with a towel, drink of your choice and a silica mask. If weather does not allow you to see the Northern Lights hunt for example, we will do another hunt the following day to give you a second chance at seeing them. However, if this is releated to any other tour, this would be handled on a case by case and your tour guide will be able to inform you of what do to however, we normally do not reimburse as we'll find a solution in this case.

We do offer triple occupancy however, this would be on request as there are limited rooms left to accomodate 3 adults in 1 room. Please confirm the date you are all looking to travel and I will verify the availability and get back to you shortly. Otherwise, we can book 2 rooms, 1 in double and 1 in single however, this would be more expensive for the single passenger.

December is a perfect time of the year to see the Northern Lights! This tour gives each traveler as many chances as possible to see them as the excursion will be rescheduled a day or 2 later if the lights cannot be seen on the original day it's scheduled. However, as it is a natural phenomena it can never be guaranteed.

The Northern Lights can be seen from mid-September and until mid-April. However, since this is a natural phenomenon, it is not possible to know for sure if they will be visible. We suggest October as the chances are good and you still have enough hours of daylight to enjoy the scenery.
