Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival at Chobe National Park
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your lodge right on the Chobe River. After you settle in, there's a 6 pm welcome meeting where you'll meet your local leader and the other travelers. From there, head out for dinner at the lodge where they serve Indigenous food and African flavors with a riverside view.

- Day 2
Chobe National Park to Zambezi River
You'll start early with a game drive through Chobe National Park, scanning for elephants, buffalo, and impalas across the landscape. After breakfast back at the lodge, you'll cross into Namibia at the Ngoma Border Post and head to Zambezi Mubala Lodge, your place to stay on the Zambezi River. Lunch and downtime let you relax by the pool or walk along the riverbanks. If you want something more active, canoe trips, guided walks, or birding drives are available depending on your interests.

- Day 3
Zambezi River
The morning is relaxed at Zambezi Mubala Lodge. In the afternoon, take a cruise down the Zambezi River to spots that most visitors don't reach. You'll see large herds of elephants, buffalo and antelope throughout the journey. Get back to the lodge for dinner and watch the sunset from there.

Landmarks/POIs Zambezi River - Day 4
Botswana to Makgadikgadi Pans
Cross back into Botswana at the Ngoma border and head south toward the Makgadikgadi Pans, which are massive salt flats and grassy plains in northeastern Botswana. This afternoon, join a 4WD drive across the salt flat, keeping an eye out for seasonal and resident birds and animals. You'll have drinks and snacks on the pans as the sun goes down, then return to the lodge for dinner.

Ntwetwe Salt Pans to Maun
This morning takes you to the Ntwetwe Salt Pans with local trackers to find and watch a resident meerkat family. You'll see them basking in the sun and hunting for food in their natural habitat. After that experience, you'll stop at a neighboring lodge for lunch, then continue on to Maun, which sits as the gateway to the Okavango Delta and its complex ecosystem.

Landmarks/POIs Ntwetwe Salt Pans Okavango Delta - Day 6
Okavango Delta
Head into the Okavango Delta using traditional mokoro canoes steered by local polers. You'll navigate through lagoons, lakes and streams spotting wildlife and exotic birds if you're lucky. A local guide takes you on foot too, so you can see plants, trees and animals up close and get a better sense of how the environment works. Lunch gets served on one of the secluded islands.

Landmarks/POIs Okavango Delta - Day 7
Departure from Okavango Delta
After breakfast, your trip ends here. If you're interested, you can arrange a helicopter flight over the delta for an aerial view of the waterscape, but you'll need to contact your booking agent beforehand. If you want to stay longer, they can also help arrange extra accommodation.
