  For foodies, this itinerary is absolutely perfect! We got to try all sorts of seafood and Japanese dishes along the way. The hotels were in lively areas, so we could easily step out and find local street food every night. Every day was filled with happy eating!

  My family and I were extremely satisfied with our japan tour tailored made to our requirements by Amber. Except for the adjustment we requested regarding our accommodation in Osaka, our tour exceeded our expectations.   The tour was amazing, and we had the chance to try so many authentic Japanese dishes. From fresh sushi and sashimi to ramen and street food, every meal was delicious. Our guide took us to some fantastic local spots, so we got to experience the true flavors of Japan.

  We had the best time on the 7-Day Japan Culture & Food Family Tour! At first, we thought the itinerary would be set in stone, but Phoebe, our travel consultant, made everything so flexible and customizable. She really listened to what we wanted and made loads of changes to the original plan, adding more attractions and even extending our trip! What made it even better was that my son had some special requests — he was dying to try Japanese Wagyu beef, sushi, and have a ninja experience. Phoebe made sure all of that was included, and after trying everything he asked for, he was beyond thrilled! The Wagyu beef and sashimi were unforgettable, and the ninja experience was definitely the highlight for him. The whole trip felt like it was made just for us, and our private guide and driver were amazing. We got to experience Japan in such a unique way. By the end of the trip, my son was already asking when we could go back! I highly recommend this tour if you want a personalized and unforgettable experience. Phoebe really nailed it and made everything come together perfectly!

  Just got back from an unforgettable 7-day trip to Japan with my son, and we had the best time! Everything was so well organized and tailored to our pace — it made the experience relaxing and fun for both of us. One of our favorite stops was Tsukiji Fish Market — we got to try some of the freshest sushi we've ever had, and my son absolutely loved it! We also visited the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine with all the beautiful red torii gates — it was even more stunning in person. And of course, Nara Park was a huge highlight too. Feeding the friendly deer was such a sweet and fun memory we’ll always cherish. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. The driver was also super helpful and always right on time. This was a perfect mix of culture, food, and adventure — just what we were hoping for in a mother-son trip. Thank you, UME Travel, for creating such special memories for us!

  We had the most amazing family trip to Japan! Everything was super well organized from start to finish. Our private guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and great with our kids — he made learning about Japanese culture really fun and engaging. The food experiences were a big highlight for all of us — from sushi-making to trying street snacks in Osaka, every day brought something delicious and memorable. The pace of the tour was just right for a family, with enough time to explore but also relax. Traveling with a private driver made everything smooth and stress-free. We came home full of stories (and snacks!) and already talking about going back. Highly recommend this tour to any family looking for a rich and unforgettable experience in Japan!

  This tour was a wonderful balance between nature and city life. I enjoyed moments of peace and tranquility and moments of absolute energy overload. The accommodations were clean and all of them provided all the necessary toiletries. Feeding the deer in Nara was so much fun, and the sushi-making class and ninja experience that Phoebe added for us were such cool surprises! All in all, this trip was amazing—definitely one for the books. If we get the chance, I’d love to come back to Japan again with the kids!

  This was our second time choosing UME Travel — the last time was back in February 2024! And once again, we absolutely loved it! The entire trip was packed from start to finish, giving us a deep and immersive experience of Japan’s charm. Even with all the walking and exploring, we never felt tired — it was all so enjoyable. Our guides,David、Hiroshi、and Mori, were incredibly knowledgeable and really added a lot of special moments to the journey. One of the sweetest touches was that on the first day in each new city, Phoebe from UME Travel arranged a basket of local fruits for us in our hotel room — such a thoughtful gesture that made us, as older travelers, feel so cared for and happy. We’ll definitely keep choosing UME Travel for our future adventures!
