It was me, my wife, and our two kids (16 and 12), and this trip was perfect for all of us. Having a private guide and driver made everything super smooth—we didn’t have to stress about directions or transportation, so we could just enjoy Japan. Amber went out of her way to arrange a sushi-making class and a ninja experience just for our kids, and they had an absolute blast! The hotels she booked were fantastic too—the rooms were super spacious, even with the four of us staying together it still felt roomy. At first, we thought the itinerary would be set in stone, but Phoebe, our travel consultant, made everything so flexible and customizable. She really listened to what we wanted and made loads of changes to the original plan, adding more attractions and even extending our trip! What made it even better was that my son had some special requests — he was dying to try Japanese Wagyu beef, sushi, and have a ninja experience. Phoebe made sure all of that was included, and after trying everything he asked for, he was beyond thrilled! The Wagyu beef and sashimi were unforgettable, and the ninja experience was definitely the highlight for him. The whole trip felt like it was made just for us, and our private guide and driver were amazing. We got to experience Japan in such a unique way. Everything was so well organized and tailored to our pace — it made the experience relaxing and fun for both of us. One of our favorite stops was Tsukiji Fish Market — we got to try some of the freshest sushi we've ever had, and my son absolutely loved it! We also visited the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine with all the beautiful red torii gates — it was even more stunning in person. And of course, Nara Park was a huge highlight too. Feeding the friendly deer was such a sweet and fun memory we’ll always cherish. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment.
