Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bled
You'll arrive in Slovenia and head straight to Bled for your team briefing. Once you meet everyone, there's a short warm-up bike ride to get you oriented with the terrain. You'll ride around the Sava Rivers, pass through Radovljica town, and along the lower slopes of the Karavanke mountains so you can start feeling comfortable on the bike right away.

Lake Bled to Lake Bohinj and Pokljuka Plateau
After breakfast, you're tackling one of the best gravel stages in the Julian Alps. The route takes you from Lake Bled to Lake Bohinj, climbing over Jelovica mountain, then you'll head back to Bled through the Pokljuka Plateau while you're in Triglav National Park. This is an original stage of the Gravel Epic, so expect some serious riding.

Lake Bled to Ljubljana
You'll cycle from Lake Bled down to Ljubljana after breakfast, heading through the Gorenjska region. The route passes through Škofja Loka town and takes you over Polhograjski Dolomiti Mountain, mixing up the terrain styles as you make your way to the capital.

Ljubljana Loop
After breakfast, you're doing a loop ride right around Ljubljana. You'll head out through Litija, Šentvid pri Stični, Turjak, and Rakitna before circling back to the city. The terrain shifts throughout the day, so you'll get a nice variety of what the region offers.

Ljubljana to Postojna
You'll ride from Ljubljana to Postojna after breakfast, working through some of Slovenia's best gravel terrain. The route takes you through Ljubljansko Barje, past Cerknica Lake, through Lošska Valley, and into Rakov Škocjan Nature Park. This area is famous with gravel riders and actually hosts the Human Fish Gravel event.

Postojna
After breakfast, you have the option to spend the morning visiting the famous Postojna cave. Later, you'll ride the Human Fish Gravel loop from Postojna through Snežnik Mountain and the Gorski Kotar Mountains, passing by Ilirska Bistrica and Pivka before returning to Postojna. This is an original loop of that popular event.

Postojna to Piran
You'll head out from Postojna after breakfast through some really diverse landscapes. The route goes over Nanos Mountain, through the Vipava Valley with its distinctive red karst formations, then past Lipica. From there, you'll ride along the Slovenian coast through Trieste, Osp, and Koper, finishing the day in the coastal town of Piran.

Parenzana Trail and Departure
After breakfast, you're riding the famous Parenzana Trail from Piran to Motovun, covering the best section of this popular route. In the afternoon, a private transfer will take you back to Ljubljana Airport, Ljubljana, or Bled, wrapping up your trip.
