Itinerary
- Day 1
Guayaquil/Quito to San Cristobal
You'll arrive in San Cristobal by flight and get transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to explore the island's main spots. Start at Tijeretas Viewing Hill to take in the panoramic views across the water, then head to Cabo de Horno Sea Lion Beach where you can watch for sea lions and other wildlife. Finish the day watching the sunset at Man Beach, which is a nice way to end your first day on the islands.

San Cristobal
You have two different routes to choose from today. If you go the independent route, start at the Interpretation Center, then walk through Playa Carola beach and see the Charles Darwin statue. From there, snorkel at Tijeretas Bay and hike out to the quieter Baquerizo Beach where you'll likely spot sea lions, lizards, and sea turtles. Alternatively, join a guided day trip to Leon Dormido island for snorkeling, where you can see frigate birds, boobies, tropical birds, and visit a secluded beach. Either way, it's a full day of exploring the island's wildlife and beaches.

San Cristobal to Santa Cruz
Take a boat from San Cristobal over to Santa Cruz, then head straight to the highlands to visit Rancho Primicias turtle farm while your driver waits for about an hour. After checking into your hotel, head out in the afternoon to Tortuga Bay Beach where you can go snorkeling and kayaking along the shore. It's a good mix of turtle spotting and water activities to break up the travel day.

Santa Cruz to Isabela
Join an English-speaking guide for the morning half-day tour visiting Las Grietas lava gorge, Playa de Perros beach, and Lobería. In the afternoon, catch a public boat to Isabela Island and spend your free time on the long sandy beach at Puerto Villamil. This gives you a taste of Santa Cruz in the morning and gets you to your next island by evening.

- Day 5
Isabela
A guided excursion takes you to the highlands where the active Sierra Negra volcano sits. You'll hike through the lava landscape and depending on weather conditions, you might get great views from the summit. It's a solid day for seeing the volcanic terrain that shapes these islands.

Isabela
You've got two options for exploring Isabela further. Option A involves a boat trip to Tintoreras Islands to see lizards, Galapagos penguins, and small sharks. After that, walk or bike to the Wall of Tears, passing beaches, mangrove forests, viewing areas, and Flamingo Lagoon before catching the sunset. Option B is a full day boat tour along the coast checking out lava arches and tunnels, spotting Galapagos penguins and boobies, snorkeling to see sea turtles, white-tip sharks, and seahorses, then returning to Puerto Villamil for a sunset walk on the beach. Both pack in wildlife and water time, just different styles.

Isabela to Guayaquil/Quito
Start early with a boat crossing from Isabela back to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. Your driver picks you up and takes you to Itabaca Canal where you'll board a ferry to Baltra. An airport shuttle bus will be waiting there to get you to the airport for your return flight to Guayaquil or Quito.
