Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Casablanca
Your driver meets you at Mohammed V Airport and takes you to your Casablanca hotel. The drive gives you a first look at this historic city and its character. After checking in, the evening is open for you to relax or start exploring the neighborhood on your own.
- Day 2
Rabat - Chefchaouen
Start at Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca's largest and most recognizable structure. Then head to Rabat where you'll see Bab Challah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and wander through Oudaya Kasbah. After lunch at a local spot, the drive takes you toward Chefchaouen with scenic stops along the way. You arrive mid-afternoon with time to walk the blue-painted medina and try some local food.

Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
The route goes through the Rif Mountains to Volubilis, an ancient Berber and Roman city that once served as capital of Mauretania. From there, you reach Meknes to see Bab Mansour's ornate gate, the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail with its courtyards and fountains, and the Heri es-Souani complex of old stables and storage buildings. Later you drive to Fes for the night.

Fes Sightseeing
After breakfast at your riad, a local guide takes you through Fes's narrow medina streets. You'll see the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter called Mellah, Al Qaraouine University which holds the distinction of being quite old, leather tanneries, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. There's a tiles cooperative to check out and a panoramic viewpoint over the whole medina. Lunch happens nearby, then you visit the souks before returning to rest.

Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga
After breakfast, the Atlas Mountains route takes you through Ifrane, a mountain village with Swiss-like character, and you stop at the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas. Azrou is next, a Berber village where Barbary apes live among the cedar trees. Midelt provides lunch before you cross the Tiz Ntalghamt pass and Ziz Gorge. By afternoon you reach Merzouga for mint tea and a camel ride across Erg Chebbi dunes to your Berber camp.

Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
You wake early for a camel trek back to Merzouga village to see sunrise over Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the riad, you travel to Rissani then to Todgha Gorges, Morocco's highest and narrowest gorges. Lunch sits in the middle of the gorge. The drive continues through Dades Valley with its sand castles and rock formations known as 'monkey toes' to your guest house overlooking the valley.

Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Hadou - Marrakech
Breakfast done, you travel through Dades Valley called the 'way of the thousand Kasbahs' with plenty of photo stops. Kalaat M'Gouna in the rose valley offers an optional cooperative visit. Next is Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site built by Berber chieftain Et Hami El Glaoui in the 1800s. The route crosses Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 meters/7,415 feet) through the High Atlas. Before Marrakech, you stop to learn about traditional Argan oil production by Berber women.

Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast, your day covers Marrakech's main sites including Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. Jemaa el-Fna Square gets busy but shows the city's energy, and the souks let you browse spices, woodwork, and traditional slippers. Ben Youssef Madrasa has ornate carved cedar and zellij tilework worth seeing. Following lunch near the square, the afternoon is free for your own exploration at a relaxed pace.

Departure from Marrakech
Your hotel arranges a transfer to Casablanca International Airport for your international flight home.
