- Day 1
San Cristobal
After meeting your group at 1pm and checking in at the hotel, you'll head to the Galapagos Interpretation Center to get familiar with the islands' history and wildlife. Later that afternoon, it's time for your first snorkel at Tijeretas where you're likely to see sea turtles, rays, various fish, and sea lions if you're lucky.

San Cristobal
This is your free day on Isla San Cristobal, so the schedule's entirely yours. If you want to stay active, there's a popular boat ride out to Isla Lobos for snorkeling and birdwatching, or you can just hang back near the sea lions on shore and relax.

San Cristobal to Santa Cruz
An early start gets you on a 2.5-hour public speed boat to Isla Santa Cruz. Once you grab breakfast and settle in, you'll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to see the visitor center and museums, then spend time with giant tortoises. In the afternoon, you'll travel to the highlands to see how these creatures live in their natural environment.

Santa Cruz to Isabela
You're heading to Isla Isabela, the largest island in the Galapagos and incredibly active volcanically. After checking in and having breakfast, the day is yours to explore at your own pace. There's an optional trip to Las Tintoreras if you want to see white-tipped sharks and marine iguanas up close.

Isabela
Start your day at the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre learning about conservation efforts and seeing tortoises at all different stages of growth. Then you'll bus into the highlands toward Sierra Negra Volcano, and if the weather cooperates, you can tackle a challenging 17-kilometer hike over 5-6 hours that takes you to the crater with views and chances to spot rare vermillion flycatchers. You'll get back to town by late afternoon with time to relax or swim before dinner.

Isabela to Santa Cruz
Back on Isla Santa Cruz in the morning, you'll have breakfast and then free time to explore however you'd like. Kayaking or swimming with the harmless sharks at Tortuga Bay are optional if that interests you. After lunch (on your own), you'll boat to La Loberia to swim with sea lions, then check out Punta Estrada for blue-footed boobies and pelicans, and finish at Playa de Los Dogs to see iguanas.

Your Galapagos trip wraps up after breakfast with no scheduled activities. You're free to leave whenever you're ready as long as you follow the hotel's checkout procedures. If you're heading off the islands today, you'll need to arrange your own flights and get yourself to the airport.
