Lima
You'll arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and meet your Uniworld representative, who'll handle your transfer to the Country Club Lima Hotel. This is where you'll be based for exploring the capital before heading to the Amazon.

Lima
Today focuses on getting to know Lima, the 'City of Kings' founded back in 1535. The included city tour takes you through different neighborhoods to see how the city blends cultures, history, and food. You'll get a real sense of what makes Lima tick as a metropolis.

Lima to Iquitos
After breakfast, you'll head to Lima airport for your included flight to Iquitos. Once you land, another Uniworld representative meets you and transfers you to the Aria Amazon. Before settling in, there's a panoramic city tour of Iquitos so you can see the town before heading out on the river.

Ucayali River
Your Amazon adventure kicks off at the Ucayali River headstream. You can kayak or canoe on Clavero Lake's black waters and swim, or visit a remote village to see how people live there. When evening comes around, you'll head out on the Yarapa River to look for nocturnal wildlife.

Amazon River
You'll spend the day exploring two different river systems and seeing the varied wildlife and vegetation that make the Amazon so diverse. There's time to see what the different ecosystems look like and learn how they all connect together.

Amazon River Birthplace
Nauta is one of the oldest inhabited settlements in the Peruvian Amazon, sitting between the Marañón and Ucayali Rivers. You'll walk through the bustling market to check out fresh fish, fruits, and vegetables. From there, you'll travel to where the Amazon River actually begins.

Amazon River
This day is all about experiencing life on the Marañón River. You'll cruise looking for Taricaya turtles and other wildlife, then take a skiff to a remote village where you can try piranha fishing. After dark, you'll go back out on the river to spot nocturnal creatures.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Get an early start to make the most of your time. You'll fish the black waters of the Samiria River and eat lunch under the jungle canopy with just the sounds of the forest around you. The afternoon is yours to choose how to explore Pacaya Samiria National Reserve—walk, canoe, kayak, or swim. Later, cruise the Ucayali River for sunset.

Puerto Prado
The morning lets you pick your own jungle activities, whether that's a walk, canoeing, kayaking, or swimming. Then you'll visit Puerto Prado Forest and the village nearby with your guide to see the area.

Nauta to Iquitos to Lima
After a morning walk through Nauta, you'll leave the Aria Amazon. Your guide takes you on excursions as you head to Iquitos, including a stop at a manatee rescue center. Then it's your included flight back to Lima and a transfer to the Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol Lima Airport hotel for the night.

Lima Departure
Your Peru trip wraps up this morning. You'll walk from the Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol to Lima airport with your guide, where you'll check in for your departure.
