Itinerary
- Day 1CuscoYou'll arrive at Cusco airport and get transferred to your hotel. After settling in, your guide meets you at 1 pm to walk through Cusco's main sites like Plaza de Armas, the Stone with Twelve Angles, and the Sun Temple. From there, you'll drive out to nearby archaeological sites including Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Pucapucara. If there's time before evening, you might catch the white Christ statue that overlooks the city. Included Activities- Walking tour of Plaza de Armas

- Day 2Sacred Valley - OllantaytamboAfter breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8 am for a full-day tour through the Sacred Valley. You'll start at the Alpaca center to learn about the local wildlife, then head to Mirador Taray for panoramic views of the region. Next comes the Pisaq Inca Site and time at the indigenous market. Lunch is a buffet in Urubamba with fresh local products, and afterward you'll see Maras, Moray, and the salt terraces at Salineras. The day finishes at Ollantaytambo archaeological site, where you'll stay near the Inca Trail entrance. - Meals

- Day 3Km82 to AyapataAfter breakfast, you'll meet your Inca Trail group at 7 am and drive to km82, the official trailhead. This opening day is the easier one to get you acclimated. You'll hike about 6 hours, walking along meandering streams and passing through local villages while visiting archaeological sites. By evening, you reach your first campsite at Ayapata. - Meals

- Day 4ChaquicochaCoffee gets served in your tent early on, and then the serious hiking begins. Expect around 10 hours today with two mountain passes to cross. You'll climb for 4 hours to Dead Woman's Pass at 4217m/13,832 ft, the trek's highest point. Then it's a 2-hour descent to Pacaymayu for lunch. After eating, you climb again for 2 hours to Runcuraccay Pass, followed by a 2-hour descent to the second campsite at Chaquicocha. - Meals

- Day 5Wiñay WaynaThis day feels easier with about 5 hours of hiking through changing landscapes. You'll get views of the Vilcabamba Mountain range as you pass Inca sites like Phuyupatamarka (City in the Clouds), Intipata (Terraces of the Sun), and Wiñay Wayna (Forever Young). Lunch happens at Wiñay Wayna, which is also where you'll stay for your final campsite. After eating, you have time to explore the site itself, and in the evening there's a special farewell dinner. - Meals

- Day 6Return to CuscoYou'll wake early for the last hike, and after about 1 hour you reach Sungate with your first view of Machu Picchu. If the weather cooperates, you'll see the sunrise over the Lost City. Your guide takes you through the 15th-century ruins, explaining the site and Inca history. Later in the afternoon, you board the Vistadome Panoramic train back to Cusco, pulling into your hotel around 7:30 pm. - Meals
