Itinerary
- Day 1
Ulaanbaatar
Your guide meets you at the hotel and then you'll head to the Deeltei Festival, where you can see parades of traditional Mongolian costumes, watch dancing and archery, and catch live performances happening around Sukhbaatar Square. After spending the morning at the festival, you'll move on in the afternoon to check out Gandan Monastery and Bogd Khan Palace, two of Ulaanbaatar's key landmarks. From there, you'll return to your hotel for the evening.

Ulaanbaatar
Your guide picks you up at the hotel and takes you to see the Naadam Festival preview at the horse-racing arena. You'll watch foal races and archery competitions performed by traditional 'Shagai' shooters, then stick around for a national folklore performance. After that, it's back to your hotel to wrap up the day.

Landmarks/POIs Naadam Festival - Day 3
Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park
You'll drive to the National Sports Stadium to catch the opening ceremony with the Mongolian president, a colorful parade, and live performances on stage. You'll stay long enough to see wrestling and archery competitions get underway, and then you're heading out to Terelj National Park, which is about 60 kilometers away on paved road (roughly an hour drive). Once you arrive, you'll settle into a traditional yurt ger at a tourist camp for the night.

Landmarks/POIs National Sports Stadium Terelj National Park - Day 4
Terelj National Park to Ulaanbaatar
This is your second and final day of Naadam, and you're driving out to Khui Doloon Khutag valley, about 50 kilometers outside Ulaanbaatar, to watch horse races. You'll have time to explore the valley, watch the races, and try traditional Naadam food including khushuur. Then you'll spend 2 to 3 hours horseback riding through the valley before driving back into Ulaanbaatar and checking into a downtown hotel.
