- Christian· September 12th, 2025As advertised. Saw jaguars in their natural habitat.Show more
- Vi· September 2nd, 2025Our trip was incredibly well-organised, and everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. All the transfers and activities were punctual and seamless, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The itinerary was excellent and allowed us to see and explore so much of Brazil within the time we had. The activities in the Amazon were a real highlight and gave us unforgettable memories. We also had an amazing guide in Iguazu, Our touguide was so knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the experience extra special.Show more
- Kathrin· August 17th, 2025We had put together a nice privately guided round trip. The places were all great. Our German-speaking guide could only speak a little German and there were also misunderstandings in English. He was rather hectic and focused on providing the cheapest possible lunch (once even in a canteen full of noisy workers). He was able to show us a lot during game drives and hikes. The picnic at the waterfall was romantic. We didn't let this spoil our travel mood. A three-day excursion in Porto Jofre had not been planned and we were simply "attached" to day trips. The guide on this part of the trip spoke better German, but had no knowledge of nature. Fortunately, as we were out stalking with experienced boat guides, the jaguars (6 different ones in 3 days!!!) and giant otters we spotted made up for the lack of knowledge. After all, we were there to see the animals and not to eat (packed lunch on 3 days was not an option). On the ship Chalana we were spoiled with culinary delights. If you want to observe jaguars in their natural environment, this is the place to be. Insist on filling your own packed lunch like we did, then picnicking next to the jaguar is even more fun. Take warm clothes with you, it was freezing on the fast boat in the morning in August.Show more

Asked on August 16th, 2025Can you please tell me more about the hotels/accommodation and sleeping arrangements? Can you provide the name of the hotels and is it a private room for 1 person? Can you also confirm if all transport between activities is included in the cost?
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written August 2025Hotels are booked only after you make a reservation. The category is standard which is equivalent to a 3-star. To get an idea of the hotels you can take a look at the daily itinerary descriptions. The rooms are private. All transportation are included.

Traveler•Written August 2025Is this tour suitable for a solo traveller to meet a group out there? Do you know how big the group is likely to be and the make up of the group? General ages, solo travellers, etc.? During free time in the mornings or afternoons, how much time is there roughly? Enough to do an additional activity outside of the itinerary?
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written August 2025This trip normally requires a minimum of 2 participants. However, all the excursions are organized on a group basis. In Rio and Salvador you will have about half a day free, which is enough to enjoy an additional excursion or activity if you'd like.

Traveler•Written September 2025Do you get many young (25-35) solo travellers on these tours? My concern is that I will be travelling solo and looking to make some connections, but feels unlikely if each activity is done with a different group.
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written September 2025Our tours usually bring together quite a mixed crowd, and you'll find yourself with different people on each excursion rather than staying with the same group for the whole trip. Since your priority is to connect with other solo travellers in a consistent group, you might find it more rewarding to look at tour operators who specialize in that type of experience, such as Contiki, Intrepid Travel, WeRoad or G Adventures.

Asked on July 24th, 2025Can you please confirm that the single room price US$1.534,50? How many people are booked so far? Does the hotels have Wifi? Will she be travelling in a group?
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written July 2025Unfortunately, there was an error in the published price for the single room. The correct price (without any discounts) is $2,200 for the single room. There are no other participants and a minimum of two people is required. I would have to organize a private tour if the customer is traveling alone and is interested.

Asked on July 17th, 2025I see you now have 2026 dates. I am probably looking at November. My question is that I will be going to Florianopolis after the tour for a week or so. I am wondering which would be the best time to go.
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written July 2025best time to visit Florianopolis: November-April
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written July 2025The period from November to April is a fantastic time to explore this destination. During these months, you'll experience warm, sunny weather perfect for beach activities, outdoor adventures, and soaking up all the vibrant culture.

Traveler•Written July 2025I assume you will be adding more departure dates for 2026 later in the year
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written July 2025I don't know if we will add more dates. That's already a lot for being group travel. If you would like to travel on a date when there is no group departure we can certainly send you a customized quote.

Asked on May 4th, 2025I am wondering when you will post 2026 dates for this tour. I am looking at Nov 2026
ETours Brazil DMCOperator•Written May 2025November 2026 is still quite far away. Domestic flight schedules are typically not released until about 10 months before the travel date, and international flights are also currently unavailable—so it wouldn't be possible for anyone to book or confirm flights at this stage. Hotel rates and service fees are also not fully published yet. The best approach would be to wait until late 2025 or early 2026 to get a realistic and accurate quote. That will definitely be the most reliable option.
